For the test hand, you could have made Denglong first with the Tenyis and added back Ashuna w/ Adhara effect so you could’ve went into Mo Ye instead. Better to commit the Ashuna for ash before ecclesia and Denglong can save your normal summon from imperm/veiler. If Denglong gets ashed you can pivot into a Qixing, Chengying, Chixiao endboard instead.
I picked up a core over the weekend and cant wait to play this deck. Im so happy it became cheaper to play. Meta enough i want to play it, slept on enough to almost be rouge.
i like to play the shthana and the mapura together because when you draw 1 of these two and a vessel you can still go full combo with the denglong and you arent forced to go into yazi or baxia
Whats the importantce of herald of arc light in yhe wxtra deck? Im completely new to swordsoul, so im just trying to link it all together in my head. Also, crimson warrior, yay or nay?
Bi’an + Chiwen on opponents turn make arc light. You get them out after you’ve used the counter trap. Crimson blader could be useful though you ideally wanna Otk if you’re going into battle phase.

No protos ?
Why don't you play Suanni? This is very helpful against fire decks if you use it with Chaofeng.
There are just so many outs. If I wanna fire lock then I think Protos is the way to go.

You can definitely slot it in. I just don’t think Protos is all that helpful at least in this build.
