Making sure your viewers understand....There is a bigger difference between an impact wrench and impact driver than simply having the square 3/8 or 1/2" square on the end to install a socket directly onto the tool. This video shows an impact DRIVER, which was originally designed to drive screws/bolts into wood etc. They of course can spin a bolt onto a car, but as Danny explains they can have too much power and cause damage by tightening too much. A "drill driver" IMO is a better choice for this as they have a clutch system which allows you to set how tightly you want them to tighten the bolt/screw. BUT, if you are doing lug nuts, suspension bolts, that is asking more of an impact driver than they are really designed to do. That is when you move up to an impact WRENCH. SO, 3 different tools for 3 different types of jobs. I own a drill driver, impact driver, subcompact impact wrench (250 ft/lbs), and a high torque impact wrench (1,300 ft/lbs). I have 4 bolts 6mm allen, stuck to the crank pulley, should i use impact wrench?
i think most prefers a $5 adaptor to a $100 dedicated tool which does the job

So you shouldn't tighten lug nuts with an impact driver?
You can, but you still need to verify the torque rating with a torque wrench. A 1/4” drive likely won’t be tight enough
What is the difference between the one you are showing DCF885 and the one I have DCF809? I am trying to find an attachment to convert it into a 1/2" Square Wrench so that I can attach DEWALT DW2298 1/2-Inch Square to 1/4-Inch Adaptor Hex Rapid Load I just bought from amazon? Thank you.
The main difference is brushless motor vs with brushes. The higher number is typically higher value
If you have an intact with the anvil head Can you get a converter Like a quick release you have on yours? Are anything that converted over to using grill bits

So is there any benefit to purchasing the 20v Impact Wrench? I already had the driver, then just bought the impact wrench, only to realize that I could just use the adapter for the driver. So now I'm trying to decide if I just wanna return the wrench.
I honestly love having the impact wrench as well. It’s so useful to be drilling with one and using the other attachments with the impact so you don’t have to keep switching bits. I enjoy having both abs especially the impact for auto work

Can it remove tire nut?
Surprisingly, yes! It even did so on my Yukon lug nut at 145 foot pounds, but I would not recommend it. I would go to the 1/2” drive for that czcams.com/video/IYbVH2Igk6E/video.html
