Hey guys!!! FYI hummingbirds will not come if the bird feeder is next to their food. You might want to move one of them at least 10-15 feet away. I’ve been a bird breeder for over 30 years. Many breeds of birds will not feed next to a breed they don’t get along with. But anyway I just love your channel. Been with you guys since Japan. Good luck in basis training!

I'm so stinkin excited!! Calvin got a little emotional about it last night when I explained he was this week of school, next week he only has Monday through Thursday, the following week is spring break then I leave that next Tuesday. He was less excited about it than I was lol. I can't wait! I'm still gonna try to vlog as much as I can. I know when I'm in tech school, learning my job, I probably won't be as worried about it because I'll be focused on studying and passing. But after that, I'll be back im sure 🥰

So does the AF let you make phone calls when you’re in basic? My ex joined the AF a couple of months after we got married and I don’t remember if he was able to call me. It was the summer of 1973 so that was a long time ago. I wonder how hard it’s going to be on Calvin when you’re gone. I hope it’s not too difficult but I know he’s going to miss you so much. I just love your dogs, Mandy. I know, I’ve said it before but I’m such an animal lover. I have a big bird feeder right outside my kitchen window hanging in one of my Crepe Myrtle trees. I love watching them but man, they eat a lot of food. I spend about 40-50 bucks a month feeding them! So, what bridge was that? Looks like it could have been the bridge in Rio Vista or around Concord or maybe Martinez. I love to watch draw bridges.
Yes, we can make a phone call roughly once a week. That's how it was for Travis at least. I think talking to him will be the hardest part, he'll be distracted and busy throughout the day but once I call it'll be on his mind. Or at bed time, since I ALWAYS tuck him in. I'm gonna miss him too. He had a crazy laughing fit last night and I was thinking about how much I'll miss his laugh until he cries 🥲 I love animals too. I love watching the squirrels run around on the fence out back, I love watching the dogs roll around and play, I love watching cows do literally anything lol. The birds are so cool. I want more to come around! Calvin wants a bird bath for his birthday lol. He wants to give the birds a place to bathe and have a place he can watch them 🥰🥹 That was on the other side of Vallejo I think. We were going toward Concord. It was the Sacramento river, if that tells you anything. I'm not too familiar out that direction yet. Mare Island Bridge I think? 😬 Lol it was pretty cool!
