    I have a baggie full of tumbled stones. They are impossible to wrap until now. Thanks a million for showing us what to do with them.

    Great job. Tumbled stones are slippery and the odd shaped makes it fun to wrap. You explained it very clearly ant took some of the mystery away. Thanks for sharing your talent. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒

      There are insecure people everywhere that lack the self-worth and confidence. They make themselves feel important by putting someone else down anonymously so they can hide behind their anonymity. They're just sad little human beings. 😕

      I agree with whoever could give this sweet lady a thumb down doesn’t deserve to have access to her channel but as someone who just realized I did this I have to defend the thumbs down, after accidentally hitting the the button. This can be undone by hitting it again .

    I love your work. For my birthday my sister gifted me beautiful semi-precious stones like these.This tutorial definitely helped me. She also got me two thick (3D-no flat side) heart shaped stones. One is a natural red Jasper ❤️ the other is a lovely Amethyst 💜.

    After binge watching lots of your videos, this one is the most helpful one, since I have a tumbled crystal instead of a cabochon

    I have actually been waiting for you to do this. Lol I pretty much had an idea on how tumbled stones worked but I needed your video to verify what I was doing. Absolutely Beautiful. I now prefer to use cabachons instead of tumbled stones. Thank You So Very Much for sharing this video. 💜💜💜

      I have not, I'm thinking it'd be similar to wrapping an angular stone like rectangle since I imagine it having sharp corners the wire would need to be bent around

  • @tonymonicasplanbmichigan5842

    I have used the cage method to wrap my iregularly-shapped tumbled stones. Some call it the "macrame" wrapping technique. I use 26 gauge wire so the wire is thin enough to see the stone. I am looking for a different bail instead of the usual one that twists all the wires together, forming the bail and then wrapping the leftover wires to form the neck of the bail. I like the look of using thicker wire for a double bail. Do you have any suggestions for a different bail I can make besides twisting the wires together? Is there a way to incorportate a thicker wire into the design and use those wires for a bail? I hope I'm explaining myself clearly. Thank you.

    What do you use to prevent your copper from tarnishing?

      I don't use anything, I just polish to clean it when necessary

    Can we use regular round wire?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 2 lety

      yes you can, but for the thinner wire I'd use 28 or 26 and do a weave rather than wrapping it around and around, so it stays put better
