FLY VS JERK 12 is underway on our channel and this is the fly that almost earned team Vision a point on day 2. An overall easy to tie pike fly with insane durability. What makes this fly so good is it is articulated, which means that you can switch the flies to the colour combination that suits your water. The head is created with Gulff UV resin Thinman which will make the fly last many, many pike.

MATERIAL LIST:
Hook: Bauer pike rig, made of Ahrex TP610 #4/0 and PR 382 #1
Tube: Bauer pike tube Fl. yellow
Glue: Zap brush on, Gulff UV resin Thinman, Flexman, Fl.red
Thread: Textreme Power thread 100D
Head: Extra select craft fur in Chartreuse, Hedron Flashabou, lateral scale small, pearl a glow in green and Holographic yellow
Eyes: Fly Dressing Stick on eyes 7.1 mm Fl. red
Body: Bucktail in Fl. yellow and chartreuse
Bauer Premium Nayat XL in Fl. Neon Green
Hedron Magnum Flashabou, Opal Mirage, pearl a glow Yellow and Holo. Gold
Tail: Dragon tail XL Fl. yellow
Balance weight: Bauer pike bead 0,6 or 0,8 grams
This is such a simple and genius concept from THE genius himself 👏👏, a fly with infinite possibilities, will last a lot of fish and hopefully increase my catch rate 😉 what more could i wish for 👍 awesome video Niklaus

Bauer is the reason I just spent my last dimes on pike fly gear 🤠 so kinda need to win some fleyes, can't afford bucktail or flash 🤣

I've been doing something quite similar on my bluewater and billfish flies for a few years, I like the flexibility a lot and the ability to have a really big fly quite easily. One thing I didn't like in this video was how the dragon tail separated from the rest of the fly between strips, I wonder if some soft rigging tube could mitigate that.
