  • This ASMR video was produced to express our gratitude for everyone who provided their support for Muju Anseong Nakhwa-nori, which was broadcast live on September 2, 2021.
This video shows the process of making nakhwabong, and you will be able to hear the rich sounds of insects and fires.
The sounds of burning charcoal and exploding fireworks will bring you peace and calm and help you forget about the COVID-19 pandemic. So get ready to relax, while watching Nakhwa-nori which is perfect for an autumn night during the Chuseok holidays.
Nakhwa-nori (“nak” means “to fall” and “hwa” means “flower”) was named so because the fireworks descending a rope were reminiscent of flowers. It is a fireworks tradition that was carried out in Dumun Village in Anseong-myeon, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do Province, with schoolchildren made nakhwabong using mulberry charcoal and ignited them.
