As Yuji finds Mahito during the Shibuya Incident Arc, everything starts to fall apart. Yuji runs into Mahito already in a really bad mood from watching Sukuna destroy a large section of the city as he fought Mahoraga and Jogo, but elsewhere we see that Mahito had created a body double before this who runs into Kugisaki Nobara, as the two begin to fight. Nobara only knows to not let Mahito touch her, as she impressively uses her nails and curse technique to keep him at bay, and eventually catches the clone in an awesome trap where she locks his legs in place using Hairpin and dives down ontop of him, hammering a nail into his head using resonance, that does Damage not only to the clone, but the real Mahito fighting Yuji nearby.

My guess is we'll probably find out at some point before the end. Nobara is one of my favorite characters, but the best case scenario is she's probably comatose but will wake up at some point in the final few chapters, or we'll have it confirmed in some way that she did die to her injuries.

She was introduced to us as the 3rd main character (unless you count Gojo) and then she's just so suddenly removed from the story like midway through and never really even mentioned again and yeah if she really won't come back it'll just feel like Gege did her absolutely dirty for no reason

Wasn’t she the only character that Mahito “killed” but wasn’t totally deformed? Like you can see she loses her eye and a side of her face, but apart from that, we don’t know. Also, Mahito was supposed to be in a weaker state. If she developed RCT she could have stopped the bleeding.

Yuta's reverse curse tech can heal others. If shes still alive and Yuta can get to her in time. He can absolutely save her if the damage to her soul isnt too severe.
But I have a feeling if they dont confirm or explain how and/or that the specific attack from Mahito killed her. Then I'm pretty sure she'll end up showing up at s very crucial time being healed by Yuta.
But as with Todo. Who knows if she'll still have access to hairpin or her cursed tech in general. Ive noticed deaths aren't portrayed in a vague manner in JJK. It's usually very obvious and/or written in stone.
I think we have a good chance Nobara will come back when needed the most or at least as support character.

He could've highly possibly died or been transfigured, turned to a vegetable, lost all ability to ever wield cursed energy again etc. Just upon contact with Mahito.

Tbh the writers barely fleshed out her character and abilities and spent so much more time on the boys (as usual), just to have her, a grade 1 sorcerer, get killed for not paying attention. Just when I thought we were going to have just one good female lead in the trio, she is presented as a complete dunce and dies. If this is truly the last we see of her, I'm going to be pissed.

It was confirmed right after the shibuya arc that she is dead by the conversation between yuji and megumi when they met again. There's no way Megumi is going to give a silent treatment to yuji on that topic bcoz even if she was in a gruesome condition as long as she was alive, megumi wouldn't hesitate in telling that to yuji.
Not to forget in around ch 210 or smthng, there was another convo between those two where yuji explained his worries of ANGEL replacing nobara in their lifes and he can't apparently come in terms with that so he ended up acting harsh towards Angel.

Honestly with the amount of characters getting portrayed in each chapter,killing them off or just a quick ending to their character really shortens the story making the other top fan favorites continue with their series, leaving others out of the spotlight.
More time passes, the less likely it feels shes alive but it makes you wonder what the point of that healer saying she isn't dead yet was narratively
