One time i got a teammate who played heavy with the grenade launcher. Whenever we started a cashout he would go outside to a nearby building and just fire grenades non stop into the room with the objective. There were literally constant explosions from the time the objective started to the end of the timer and by that point the building basically didnt exist anymore. Nobody ever stopped him (they were too busy eating sand) and we won that game 3-0. God bless that little sand eater

me using the grapple hook to slingshot my way across the map at mach 2.5 with a shotgun to get that titanfall 2 dopamine rush

Never forgetting the time a friend and I went double sledgehammers and destroyed the area around the deposit box. Both other teams were unable to navigate the rubble and we won.
strat i found that you can do with the goo gun: the goo blobs are flammable, and when on fire they deal damage to players touching them and burn out after a bit, disappearing when they do so. This can both completely level any goo fortifications AND be used to a defender's advantage. Simply spam single goo blobs where the attackers would like to be, and connect that with a line of blobs to a source of flame, be it a fire grenade, a fire barrel, or even a flamethrower, and continually replace the goo as its burns out. It's like a completely broken fire grenade with crazy range that you have to micromanage to keep from going out.
The bit about teammates eating sand had me rolling
For you Sir Swag viewers I'll share my favourite loadout on The Finals atm. It's fun, surprisingly effective and a great way to spice things up in the game: use a heavy class with the sledgehammer and a goo gun. When you shoot someone with the goo gun they're stuck in place. That's when you smash them and 'regoo' repeatedly until they're dead. If you have a good aim, try to hit them in their upper body so they can't shoot you. Don't panic spam the goo gun though.
It will take a bit to get used to but it's really addicting when you get the hang of it. You can run it with the RPG, shield bubble and a barricade. The only real counter seems to be the stun gun, so make sure to have the Lewis Gun as your spare just in case someone in your lobby is spamming it. Also you're riot shield users worse enemy and if you manage to goo a light player you can oneshot then with your heavy sledgehammer attack. AMA if you want any extra tips on this build.
I do something similar but with the flamethrower and the goo gun, and swap the shield for an rpg. I keep the sledgehammer on my backups though, it’s too fun to leave out of the match.

smoke just has one job, to put out fire, and make the most toxic way to block a cashout, throwing a smoke and a gas nade together, thats how you get a toxic cloud that can not be ignited, but running both nades at the same time is kinda useless for everything else

Hot tip for zip-line defense, goo stops them in their tracks and makes them fall, any type of goo as well.

The one thing I will say is that you shouldn’t play the finals like it’s call of duty, since the game is similar to overwatch where you have to somewhat rely on your team’s to win.🐱

I wanted to love it but there were those stupid equipment cards that decided what gun you had. That was awful, made me quit because of it. Progression felt too slow. I also hate how you died so quickly.
@@ThunderTheBlackShadowKitty Sure, loadout cards weren't dirtybomb's crowning achievement, but the 5-way class system, the global respawn timer, the diversity of objectives and side-objectives, the movement system, the way healers were handled... Dirty bomb had some ingenious ideas. I could talk about it for hours, and I'm sure some youtuber already has, but just.
I wish some of these ideas survived past dirty bomb's death. Dirty bomb solved on day 1 problems other games struggled with for their entire runtime, and created an incredible competitive experience in doing so.
@@Trickyni Bro I get it okay I do, I played it when it came out, and I know it was made by the same people who did stuff like Wolfenstein. All that said I really do think those loadout cards were THE killing blow. Just a terrible terrible idea. Also I fucking hated the global respawn timer. Wasn't a fan of the healing either. Those three flaws should've been addressed sooner.
@@Trickynidirty bomb was definitely enjoyable, although I'd say medics did have minor issues, like Aura still healing you while you were being damaged.
But the good movement and reasonable TTK was enjoyable

Flamethrower somehow heavys worst weapon, the best melee weapon and counter-melee weapon in the game. As a sword player a flamethrower is the bain of my existence.

light with grapple is the best. It feels just like titanfall. I like to "jump to my death" only to shoot back up for round 2.

I can certifiably say without a doubt most, if not all the things said in this video, are absolute facts. Especially the subject on teammates, as a solo queue gamer, I feel searing pain as I watch from their own view, the grinding of the rusty cogs moving in their head. And yes as much as you like the light class, trust me, you’re not **that guy** and we could’ve used your help. Final thoughts, please for the love of dog, do the tutorial and experiment with the sandbox in the training area, you’ll feel like you unlocked a higher dimension brain. Trust.
Don't forget heavys moving objectives from higher floors to lower by rpging the floor. Confuses people so much

Auto shotty best Heavy weapon
Always use Dash on lights with sword, not cloak. The dash+thrust combo is huge when you nail the timing
Mediums should literally always have defib as they are the only class that can have it.
Never use the shotgun on medium because if it's working, you're playing medium wrong. You will loose all of your mid and long range

Dig the game but whenever i try to log onto it on Steam, it tells me on launch that i have cheats installed. I have no cheats of any kind on my computer. Ended up deleting it after failing to find a solution to the issue.
In this videogame was the first time I'd ever had team mates in a pvp game tell me I hard carried them, and I did it with a fucking sword instead of a gun. If that doesn't speak to how unconventional this game is, I don't know what does.
