Thank you for adding in so many rib basics like when to wrap, when they’re done, tips on cutting, and how to handle the little bone chips. Really appreciate it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Ribs and sorry for repeating, but Chef Tom is the best teacher for BBQ 👍👍👍
We're pretty partial to CT!
I’ve always been a huge fan of your recipes, I appreciate that you focus more on technique than ingredients. I made this with Rubs that I had on hand, a homemade BBQ sauce added to the Dr Pepper. The results were spectacular.
Killer job chef thank you for sharing this one with me.
Another winner Chef....Thanks for sharing recipe and technique!
As a brewer, I know that the recipe by itself is only part of the magic. Showing us your technique and process brings the dish home.
Plenty of room for adjusting for taste, the important part is the technique to get the result.
So good!
Chef Tom is my hero! Dude can cook anything and make it perfect! Truly in awe.
aw shucks
Great instructions to cooking baby back ribs. They look great.
Made this yesterday, so delicious and well worth it. Thank for the great recipes!
Yess!!!! Thank You, Thank you, Thank you. Finally a video with the three tier rack being used. Now it’s on my wish list since some times cook a lot of ribs at a time.
I need to pick up my Yoder, then this will be one of the first things I make. We have been living in a hotel for most of the year, and not being able to bbq has been the worst. We finally move into our new house next week, and my new Yoder has its own home on the back patio. Can’t hardly wait.
First time viewer here at ATBQ. These looked so good I had to try em on my Memphis Pellet grill today. I've tried all sorts of recipes and methods from books, CZcams, and the interwebs. This is without a doubt the best rib cook ever for me. Hell, they are amazing even before that final saucing. This guy is the real deal, but I suspect you regular viewers already know that. Anyway, if you are lucky enough to be seeing this video you owe it to yourself to try this recipe
Looks terrific. Congrats!
Soo hungry right now 😂 Awesome recipe Chef! Gonna try this out for sure! 👍
You can have my wife for an even trade for a Grill like that! I'm 55 she's 39. Still has good miles on her, yet she's slowing down! Love The Grill!
Now that's a comment haha
lmao
😂😜😁😄😝🤣 that's a Classic comment... Good trade though 😂🤣
7:06 Yoder: “Our pull-out game is strong”
🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀
Love the videos! For a novice bbq’r they are great! I wish you would give us a temperature reading through out the cook to help us beginners along. You do a great job of explaining what to look for but a temp reading would help reassure the novice bbq’r that they are headed in the right direction. Keep the videos coming!
This video was so well put together. Liked and subscribed
Amazing job👏🏻
Love this! You are a master at your art!
💪🏼
My wife just made a dr pepper turkey on my smoker for thanksgiving and it was the best turkey ever! I keep saying that every year cuz she is a genius with turkeys! Im making those ribs! MMM
Awesome, let us know how they turn out!
Those ribs look so awesome! The flavour profile in them looks amazing. Cheers!
They were SO good!
Great job Tom! Those ribs looked absolutely delicious! This is a must try for me. 👍🏼That 3 tier rack is savage and a must have. #towerofribs
Looks amazing
Looks Delicious! I’ll try this recipe. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! I'm drooling....
🤤🤤🤤🤤
Take a shot every time he says "doctor"!! 🙃🍻🍻
Yum, would be interesting to try the difference cutting it all nice vs leaving the little bits. I most times leave them for an extra smokey treat for myself.
very nice good day for ribs nice sunny 70 degree weather here
Love how easy and well executed recipe. Especially with that special taste of dr.pepper. It sounds good to me 👍🏻👍🏻. love and respect al the way from Saudi Arabia
Thanks for watching & commenting - it's wonderful to have fans from all over the world!
@@allthingsbbq ask him to bring some gifts
Well, now I know what I'll be doing this weekend!!!!😋
Moving to Missouri in a few months. Will definitely be hitting up your place!🤙🏼
Fantastic job Chef!
Glad you liked it!
A very nice of culinary care in cooking.
They look great
Outstanding! Malcom’s run sure is a winner for ribs
Looks yummy 😋
Woah these look awsome
he makes mixing soda and bbq sauce sound great
One day I WILL OWN one of those smokers.
When I do beef short ribs in the oven I use Ginger ale gives a great taste
Subscribed just because of this video. Going to try this with Big Red soda.
17;35 they wanna pull away from the bone... or not...it has that Dr Pepper taste to it... like a boss!
Malcom’s seasoning is always on point. 👍🏻
Thats good pork - you could see (during the trimming) the large quantity of meat between tyhe bones, great recipe with Dr, Pepper - 10/2/4 - for those old enough to remember the original jingle.
Dude once again you have done it,except this time your your enjoyment level seem to be much higher, you seem to really be into it more. And your explanation of why you do something is very much appreciated. Thx again
Thank YOU!
Magnificent. 👍🏻
Dam. I'm jealous of the grillz. Love the videos
Thanks!
My brotha.. amazing as always! Now you just need a "big Red" to wash it all down with!! BOOm! Question: When selling ribs, do you prefer to bbq st. louis style or baby backs?
Its currently 9:22AM and my mouth is watering for some BBQ, what is breakfast? Speaking of Breakfast, maybe its time for some sort of video?
I bet this would be good shredded and put in an omelet (anything really). OH hash!
My wife makes me brisket, egg, cheese, onion and mushroom burritos from leftovers.........toasted!!! My oh my.
Planning to have some around the holidays which will be here before you know it!
I feel like out of all the vids thus far, u enjoyed these ribs the most lol
Great video
Once again a mouth watering recipe! Thank you sir! Oh and what neighborhood did you say you lived?LOL Keep up the wondrous work the world needs good BBQ
I have cooked some really good ribs but I always enjoy seeing other technics and recipes. I want to try that Dr. Pepper glaze the next time. I am also very jealous of your pellet burner. One of these days I hope to have one. But right now my stick burners will have to do.
They are awesome! Put it into the universe and it will happen: www.atbbq.com/yoder-smokers-s-series-pellet-grills
These look yummy 👍
Hey, love your videos!
So all that pork you cut off, anything you recommend doing with that?
I think you might be biased about your cooking when you taste it - maybe I can come and be a recurring, independent taste tester and take some of the pressure you obvious are suffering from when trying these ribs... and everything else.
I appreciate your willingness to serve and sacrifice! 😂
I second that
Me, too! I’m available LOL
It's a tough job but someone has to do it!
That's what you call "pit master privilege"
I love Dr Pepper!
*NOTHING* better than Baby Back Ribs!
salute from Tx
Which Camera and lense do you use for your videos?
Awesomeness
It would be helpful to know a few days in advance when you're going to cook that many ribs. It takes 12+ hours to drive there from Georgia.
Even on CZcams those smelled great!
amazing
I'm a chef .. I've watched alot of videos on how to cook ribs. I've seen many different styles and techniques. This video is by far the best demonstration I've seen. New subscriber here keep up the good work
Very nice Tom. I have not found baby backs that meaty .... almost looks like a high end spare rib. Excellent!
My local super market has what is called an extra meaty loin rib, they are excellent.
@@rondent2879 I'm in- dont even have to think about it.
New to smoking/grilling! Question: if you want them falling off the bone do you leave them on the smoker longer? Or do you pull the racks off sooner?
So close to 300k LET’S GOOOOO
YES!
who are the 43 people who don't know what to do with themselves besides hate life...? Seriously, how could you not love this video?
We're new to your channel and love what you're doing. Questions:
1. Why use mustard as your binder. Could we use olive oil?
2. If you were just doing 1 or 2 racks, would you have used the Kamado Classic III instead?
Would love to see you do a Breakfast Pizza!
I haven’t seen anyone do a tri tip cooked like a brisket on CZcams. It really is just like a brisket with the flavor of a trI tip
I will pass this along to CT!
I love dr. Pepper omg
Those look great. 4 hours for the initial smoke at 275 seems really long. I did spareribs over the weekend and did 2.5 hours at 275 before wrapping. I was following Heath Riles suggested time. Yours did not seem overdone (falling apart) at 4 hours, so I am a bit confused.
I want to be a taste tester. 😍😍😍
do you find that you get a good smoke profile off that pellet smoker? I am in the market, but I am thinking an offset smoker might be better.
Looks like I’ll be picking up a rack of ribs from Shoprite this week
YES!
Looks good. How hard is that 3 tier rack to clean! Thanks
Easy! It's diswasher safe :)
Easy! A quick scrub and then load into the dishwasher :)
Hey chef Tom, those look great!! Was kinda shocked when you smoked for 275 for 4hrs. Most of the ribs I’ve seen you do is at 275 for around 2.5-3hrs and then wrapped. Was curious why so long this time?? Also, would like to see you do a rib vid with no wrap sometime . Yall’s vids are great, thanks so much!!
My thinking is he had 9 Racks of ribs so the overall needs more time.
Wow!! Those look delicious! I’m more of a pulled pork girl, but these ribs might make me switch. Do the back ribs tend to have more meat?
do you have a resturant? when i come back to visit my home state i truly hope you do, or atleast i can come try some bbq? haha
Oh man why am i watching this 11 in the morning 😋
So you can cook it later that night!
Been doing Doc Pep ribs and brisket for years. Now I gotta make this sauce?!?! C'mon man...... OK, I'll take one for the team. Nice work ATB!
Thanks Derek! DP alslo works great for ham. Google it!
Only 299k subs?? Mans worth a million surely. Can't say im a fan of pellet grills but anyhoo.
Thanks for the good vibes Kris. If you've never taken a look at the Yoder Smoker Pellet Cooker, it'd be worth your attention - it's not even close to average pellet cooker... its the real deal: czcams.com/video/QocJjJVttfM/video.html. But if traditional wood pits are more your jam, Yoder Smokers dominates there as well: www.atbbq.com/grills-and-smokers/offset.html. Thanks for watching!
Anyone tried the motor city trinity sauce? Or their scorpion sauce? I think they are quite good.
I just bought my first smoker and this will be the first recipe I use when it arrives. I just ordered the mustard and rub. Thanks a lot!
Rock on!
Weekend plan is set :-)
I like the chewy bit
How can you do baby back ribs on pitboss 3series electric smoker 30inch use small wood chips
What can i substitute the Dr pepper for? Thx
My goodness!!
How would these turn out if I use Rootbeer?
And what do you do for a living man? That's a crazy amount of grills in the background? Again, I love it just in awee!
THIS is what CT does for a living! He tests recipes, shoots videos, teaches classes and spreads the good word of BBQ & grilling!
ooooooooooo these are good.. best way two marinate them just let them marinate for days...in pure dr pepper nothing else..
Many i did 3 ribs and at 4 hours it was ripping away from bone when handling and black at the base Im worried these are gonna be overcooked still 1hr of braising and the 15min tacking
I'd love to see you shout a passing hobo, stick a rack of ribs in front of him and let him do the taste test.
Every time I see a cooking vid where the cook judges the food... I dunno, it doesn't feel right and you could totally add a random act of kindness to the end of a vid once in a while.
You'll bbq a lot of hearts that way.
...*WARM! I meant "WARM a lot of hearts". Sorry, got bbq on the brain.
My new idea dr pepper beef ribs already premade in packages at stores
I'm partial to old school wood smoke with a fire box. I think it has a deeper flavor and a better smoke ring.
You'll love this video: czcams.com/video/AZTseen2hes/video.html
ribs look like they hittin!
Dude loves his job lol
Chef Tom!! Could you put on some rub recipe? I cant buy one of yours in my country and i would like to try cooking some of your recipies at home
