Our girl scout troop will be spending the night there in a few weeks. Where did you park? Was the road to this uphill? It will be my first time driving in sf I'm a bit scared!
We were staying at a hotel up near the Transamerica Pyramid and just walked down to the wharf area each day, but I know there are a handful of parking garages and street parking options within about a half mile of where the USS Pampanito is. Depending on where you're coming in from, this whole area will either be a flat walk or a downhill walk from where you park. Driving in San Francisco is hectic for sure! My advice would just be to always be aware of the cable cars and pedestrians at any intersection and you should be good.
