Can we just acknowledge Jade for this concert? Not to say that the others cannot sing, but Jade was the only one who could take on Perrie's difficult vocal moments and do amazing. Super proud of her!

Ummm no. Jade is not the only one who can take perries parts. Jade had to do it because Leigh Anne had her own high notes to cover and will die doing both. Jesy will never date to push herself so jade had to by default not because she was the only capable one. Also Leigh Anne is a better belter so that's definitely not the reason

Ever sang that nite live twice and there good, but not fantastic. Maybe Perrie belted better, but jade was more open and sang the A5 better. I love both of them, but from and technical stand point jade did it slightly better, and she did it to a lot of people‘s preferences. I know it’s Perrie part but we got to knowledge credit where credit is due.
I feel like this is the best job they have done covering when someone is missing (maybe because they had more preparation). They did such an awesome job! Sad for Perrie that she missed out, but I just hope she is ok
Jade almost collected all the verses in Black Magic except for Leigh's (she covered Jesy in 2016 and Perrie's now) Admittedly, she sounds good absolutely everywhere although I think that opening in Power more fit to Jesy since her and Perrie's voices have similar structure in some hard notes

Leigh is the most versatile but did well and can also be versatile. I wish sang more though instead pointing the mic to the crowd in most of the songs.
@@littlemixwillsurvivelittle976 Actually, Jade is the more versatile vocalist. Versatility is not only about being able to seamlessly shift between genres. It's also about being able to change the texture of your voice. Leigh-Anne has better dynamics, in the sense that she knows how to control her volume better than Jade. But Jade can transition from extremely loud, powerful and raspy to soft and sweet, which is why she can sing so many genres like rock, R&B, pop and indie/alternative. She could probably even sing country music if she wanted to. Leigh's transitions are also good but she often uses M2 (mixed voice) when she sings her high notes because it is healthier, which is why her transitions are less noticeable than Jade's but still impressive nonetheless. Leigh could probably sing rock but her voice is not powerful/chesty enough for rock and too powerful for indie so Leigh mainly sticks to R&B, soul and pop.
@@varunravi27 jade is the weakest at belting and strains and over pushes to get belts out, she Improved but needs more training. Leigh Anne is a natural powerhouse jade is not which is part of why she mostly does lows and falsetto while Leigh Anne does high notes, riffs and runs, lows, falsetto/HV, and even raps. So like majority have always said Leigh Anne is definitely the most versatile. Jade can be versatile but she isn't able to transition easily like Leigh Anne. If you watch Leigh Annes two covers she gives you a perfect example of transitioning and flipping her voice so easy in every register. She's never done it that easily and noticable in the group because she didn't get to show it off as she can alone. Once jade is by herself we'll see how good she is in all registers hopefully but Leigh Anne clearly is more versatile and rounded than jade. Her headvoice is also more connected than jade. Jade sometimes can be sloppy when she's trying to switch registers quickly and be creative. The confetti tour is a good example, she was trying to switch her voice and change notes and most of them were misplaced and over done. Leigh Anne is almost never sloppy and well placed. Jade is second most versatile and experimental though but this has always been Leighs crown and that's what majority always describe when talking about her voice besides being a great belter and jade and mostly described as the one with soft low pretty airy vocals. Both amazing

Seems that they just let the members sings same verse or same chorus with Perrie covering her parts, like Jesy in NMSS, Only you, SOTME or Jade in SLS, Touch, or if she sings right before or after another member, then the other member takes that part like BM or Wings. And with the songs contained a lot of hard parts and high notes, they have to split it up.

it's possible that jade unfortunately lipped the "power" verse, originally perrie's, the vocals from the soundcheck sound exactly the same and leigh-anne possibly did it too, but with the pre-chorus. ;( maybe it's good for them, because the original + live version sung is HARD to sing, and both girls have a very light tone (jade's classic "shout out to my ex" chant break says it all), as also sometimes leigh-anne doesn't feel confident to attempt very difficult vocals, like the extra F5 in "nmss" or extra E5 in "about the boy", almost 6 years ago!
At least on the "behind you around town" it seems a bit different than in soundcheck as I hear
Jade definitely %100 did not lip sync perries part. Her voice kinda sounds similar to perries when she does that rasp/groan lower note. She even prayed before she did it, so she definitely didn't lip sync it.
