A 389 in a 69 GTO? The 1966 GTO was the last of the 389 powered cars, so if it is a 389 and not a 400 somethings wrong.

Pro tip on old 4:speed cars before you go put it in reverse put it in 2nd gear then go grab reverse n it won't grind. Did a 389 engine go in a 69 GTO or was it a 400/455 I'm not sure . 389 4 barrel or tri-power or what. Needs brake upgrade to disc and booster. Gotta stop that beast.

Nothing wrong with pontiac rallies. Cause those torque thrust 18s and 19s are pretty basic. I know folks throw them on everything. Shoot, even see them on skate boards and scooters lol get nauseated 😂
