Fun fact: Keanu reduced his paycheck significantly just so that the producers could afford Al Pacino.
And when Al Pacino found out he donated the same amount of his salary to charity.
and when the charity found out they accepted it and thanked both Keanu and Al.
@@AmFFFersand then charity gave the money to Keanu for his kindness.
@@ernestkhalimov9368and then Keanu donated that money back to the charity
Bro these replies lmao😂😂
kinda funny that keanu goes on and be constantine, literally hunting devil
Constatine Origins
The ending of the movie is a very dark one when you think about it. If the Devil doesn't get his way he has the power to turn back the clock and keeps on doing it until he does which confirms when he says all of the world belongs to him and shows it by winding back the clock and ultimately winning in the end. It's a depressing ending when you think about it. Not only the ending is dark and tragic, but Kevin is to be Milton's plaything forever, and will never let him go. And if you take the supernatural out of this movie. This movie rings more true now than it ever did before given the amount of corruption that goes on in the halls of law firms, businesses, and governments today.
👏...🤔Yes!
so just like the devil in the movie click, he has the remote control
Nobody can turn back time except Allah.
They can only change their ways
@@helmyabachh maybe they can find a way
Its actually the humans who do the evil and wickedness.
Kevin's wife is also a negative character in a subtle way. She don't have any problem in her husband's wrongdoings (like, verbally assaulting an underaged rape victim) and she enjoy the luxury through it. And the climax scene where she insist her husband to go for the interview and finally falling in the trap of satan is symbolic to the Biblical story of temptation of Eve in Aden.
Perfect description of her character
God tempted adam and eve
@@computeraidedyamiah a calvinist by accident.
I can't remember the full movie... but did she knew about his wrongdoings? It looked like the case with the child rapist was his first case where he defended a bad person and won. But it looked like only Kevin knew that he was guilty. Given that the Jury proclaimed innocence, its only fair to assume that his wife also believed he defended a innocent man.
So all she did, was supporting him in his career, which is not a sin.
It’s his job to defend his client no matter what.
The moral of the story is that lawyers are the devil
Lawyers freed a lot of innocent people. ‘Innocent til proven guilty’ is fundamental in the constitution.
🤣
The moral of the story flew above ur head. Don't worry, not everybody have a thinking mind.
Trump lawyers for sure. They all know Diaper-Don is Satan and sign on anyway.
This movie is a classic I’ve been watching it every now and then since my teens for the last 20yrs+.
When he shoots AL Pacino , al does the same movement as he did in scarface when taking the bullets
first video I see of this channel and I already suscribed, excellent video!
Devils favourite sin is the vanity.Either in the form of pride or self-righteousness.
PRIDE.. We want all the vanity in the world because we want to be #1.
If the devil likes vanity he must absolutely love tik toc and the rest of social media!
❤ Great movie recap
The first time I saw this movie back around 2014 I was practically in tears over his wife. But the second time I watched it Charlize Theron reminded me of Michael Keaton the whole time.
His wife is also depicted as a sinner same like her husband in the film. There's a scene in the film where she's enjoying with her husband after he did injustice to the rape victim. And that's why she suffered later in the movie. And at the end itself it is clear she'll get tortured again and again in the never ending loop by satan.
That’s a difficult wank
Love this movie
where are the writers like this... Movies back then hits different unlike now.its empty
THIS movie is empty, are you kidding. Nothings changed except for your youth and outlook. The world hasn’t changed much what you see and how you see has. Realize that.
@@chrisS19019nahhh it’s empty now back then the movies had real twists real plots real topics in them nowadays things are just super watered down it’s like there’s no creativity
@@geolifestyle5015 then you’re not watching the right movies. More people than ever with the same creative drive have access to making films and they are incredible. If you don’t like empty movies don’t go see a super hero movie but there are thousands of films that are amazing people just aren’t looking hard enough.
@@chrisS19019 u may have a point where can I find movies with more depth to them because the mainstream is just filled with remakes
@@chrisS19019 Yes, world change A LOT and like 99% of movies and music are utter garbage these days. Like creativity didnt exist anymore.
Sounds like a good story to begin for John Constantine before magic power
I have always wondered how lawyers stay sane by defending their clients even if they know that they are guilty of the crime they committed.
I know of one who busted his butt to get through law school but was so disillusioned by private practice that he quit after 6 years. He became a chef as cooking was his chief hobby. He got very drug down by the corruption in modern day law and his conscience remained in constant guilt over the illicit clients and actions he was constantly being forced to defend.
Movie was so good
2:00 *LET HER SWEAT A LITTLE!!!!* 😁😁😁😁
Kevin, a defense lawyer, is simply exercising his clients' rights. He's not a judge, jury, or prosecutor, so the outcome of cases doesn't fall on him. If guilty parties go free, it's due to prosecutorial failures, not Kevin's actions. Legal representation is everyone's entitlement, even for the guilty. If Kevin's only fault is defending them, he's more saintly than sinful.
Ok Kevin.
Good recap, well done
Thanks
Of course part of the moral of the story is that being a defendant is wrong lol 🤦♂
Not really
@@gavriilkremastiotis1914yes really
Dude... do you really watched the movie? And haven't you seen the defendant verbally assault the rape victim?
It depends on if the accused is actually innocent or guilty, remember there are innocent people in the jail.
no lol could be you
Loved that movie.
Al Pacino is always outstanding.
I would add something like look at what his wife said: 'you should had never accept dirty money and work as offender of criminals on the account of innocent' (in this case children)
Speaks about how dirty money carry bad spiritual attachement with themself.
6:24 wrestling match 😂😂😂😂😂 as they are watching. Boxing lol
Lolol I started going through the comments and began thinking I was the only one who caught it
I feel like we need a part 2
Its a good movie
That was Cherlize Theron?! I thought that it looked like Ashley Judd! Furthermore, I didn't realize that Frank Sobotka was a schoolteacher in Florida before becoming head of the Stevedore Union in Baltimore! Wow! LOL
Christabella is so pretty
Her haircut made her crazy
Charlize Theron was just stunning in this.
Dang I need to see this.
ay that don’t look like no wrestling match to me 😂
I remember watching this movie at the theatres 🔥
6:12 - Boxing match, not wrestling.
Bothered me too 😂
Lol John Milton. A bit in the nose.
what a plot twist😂op
He does a surprisingly good north-Florida accent
Milton=Paradise Lost, a retelling of Adam & Eve
Road to 2lakh
“Vanity, definitely my favorite sin!”
The desire for fame is one hell of a drug! 👏🏽
Let's call this prequel to Constantine, XD
I wonder if this have any ties to Constantine???
Theoretically You Can say He was given His new power in Constantine somehow after He exercised His freewill against the Devil in the end of This
@@omardiaz8112 so this is pre-quel of Constantine?
@@ezon725No
@@ezon725no it’s not a prequel these are two different universes Constantine is in the same reality as Preacher, Swamp Thing, and Lucifer. This was just a stand alone movie about the devil trying to trick his kids into giving birth to the anti christ.
@@omardiaz8112no you can’t Constantine is owned by DC comics this is just a movie it has nothing to do with that universe
Wasn't Lowman the dead guy from weekend at bernys

How the hell do you think that’s a wrestling match?
Keanu has something to do with the devil😂
You've got the timing of the not guilty verdict wrong.
Less than 5 k like and over 250k views YIKES

John wick before being the boogy man
This is what happens if the matrix decides to restart
Please, we don't need the incessant music.
Charlize Theron was intoxicating in this movie.
Whose bgm you are using??
3:58.....The Woman in red. 5:34, New York Real Estate Billionaire who has an inappropriate relationship with his daughter.....I wonder if Mr. Incredible's character was based off someone? The apartment looks laced out with tacky-gold furniture looks familiar too.
6:12.....Wrestling match????
This was a good movie, but you have to sit and watch it.
John Constantine
the half sister was HAWT
So……..it was a day dream?
Did you see the end??
The joke is featuring a supposedly ethical federal agent
What's the name of the movie?😂😂😂😂
Devil's advocate
Charlise Theron was absolutely stunning back then.
Still is!
Do any of you ever watch the movie after youve seen the recao already?
Neo from the matrix back story.
I tell all church going people that love to dress up on Sundays for church, or young adults that need to dress up and look good all the time is, VANITY THE DEVILS FAVORITE SIN. and they still do not understand what I mean by that....... Or they don't want to understand.
No, self righteous pride (the sin of the scribes and pharisees) is worse, and what you demonstrate. Not only is self respect a Very positive trait, but making an effort to look your best when you visit someone else's home is simply respectful...looking sloppy is not, It's direspectful. This is why people have "sunday best" clothes.
Second movie where a character played by Charlize Theron is the wife of a man swayed by a dark, supernatural entity, resulting in them moving from Florida to NY in exchange for fortune and success.
Constantine origins lol ( its just a joke my fellow nerds.)
Damn Charlize Theron 🫣
A bit like Rosemary's baby
movie title pliz
Devils Advocate
who saw this after they saw the demonic face disorder?
Baba Yaga origin story.
AL PACINO sent Keanu to the top of his office to show him he owns the world so if he can bow down and worship him he would entrust the world to him just like after 30days of fasting of Jesus devil attempted him with the same set
Movie name please!
Devils Advocate
Wouldn’t that mean that Kevin is the anti christ?!
What's the name of the movie??
The Devil's Advocate (1997)
I just wonder if you had to emphasise " Black man ". There were white man in the movie as well but you didn't put emphesis on them...
I'm not into this racism drama and I'm not accusing you of anything but it was unnecessary what you did.
I agree. Whites always find a way, even in the slightest of opportunities to be racist.
Typical, predictable and second nature to them.
Please movie's name
