As much as I love to sail the 7 seas, I watch these inlet videos, I realize there’s a level of a natural selection at stake 😬😝
I am strangely addicted to watching these, only ever submarined once but once was enough. Went so deep it tore the wind shield off.
Wow what a noob.
@@doriangray2020 nice insult bro
This channel taught me the difference in Lake boats and open water boats
Lake boats are more like floating pieces of metal.
Yeah, you think, "If I win the lottery, I'll buy a couple stylish Sea Rays. But, over time and watching these boats in rougher waters, that caviar dream has evolved into owning a Boston Whaler, and maybe an Intrepid, Nortech, Regulator, etc.
The Great Lakes have conditions like these often, and it can be the whole lake pretty much. Seen spray come over the ramp of a ferry big enough to carry a semi.
@@musicianshotsheet4806 Boston Whaler makes overpriced, mass produced chopper gun boats, leages behind Regulator. Intrepid makes some of the best fiberglass, outboard powered boats in the world. A good boat builder is like a good watchmaker: as many components as possible should be made in house and by hand.
Not sure what’s so appealing about these videos, but damn, why do I keep watching them?!
Nate Dog I’m guessing you, like me, want to own a boat sometime soon?
same
@cam f are u a mind reader?!? Lol
MB Pokevids I make my attempts. I’m decently successful but not 100%.
I Watch them thinking i WANT a boat, then i watch these video and THen im like....NAH
Love this channel not only from an entertainment perspective but also from an educational perspective. Anyone owning or considering owning a boat will benefit from watching Boat Zone. The information on make, model, etc, is essential for anyone considering the purchase of a boat. I would love to see the LENGTH of these watercraft if possible, I know some information can be attained by the model number but not always. Great job "Boat Zone" keep up the good work!
Much appreciated D V! Check our newest videos, we show not only the length of the boat but also more valuable information. Stay safe !
Love the Dad at 1:55 in the Yellowfin blasting through the bar with the young kid on the bow without a PFD. Way more money than common sense! Coming from someone who’s had to deal with the results of people’s stupidity on the water waaay too much.
Wearing a PFD is like wearing a seatbelt... When you wear one all the time, you don’t even realize you have it on. Be safe out there and have fun!
First thing I noticed as well.
Hey am agree with you 100% but honestly that boat barely move lol
Agreed!
Such a Karen. 😂
@@R.U.1.2. oh really? Wow 👏
Love to see those Carolina boats just killin it. Just watch the Grady footage, done and done.
9:45 Riding the waves like a king
4:28 look at that weirdo watching us!
I came to say this🤣🤣🤣
The open bow situation is amazing, especially with people up front 🤪
Nice wave action and a couple of good beach shots.
You mean ass shots...😋
Zero personal flotation devices (except the jet ski). Amazing.
0:17, such nice water, the guy in the white boat must be having a blast.
there was a boat?
The wide-angle of the second vessel was a good call! Observing all the landscaping was key in this one...
Boats, Babes, Water and Sun... Dosen't get any better..
Don't know what's more expensive, boats, or babes...
5:07 I thought that jetski dude was SCREWED
So did He !
4:54 *jet ski fly by*
Unknow person: “WOOO” HAHAHAHHAA😂😂
The experienced skippers make it look soooo easy, flawless, super smooth....... and then others......... 😳....
Thanks for filming more Jetskis👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Ahhhhhh wonderful beach scenery !!
I've been watching these vids on and off for two days since I found them. When I see a boat go through with people riding on the bow, or better yet on top of the bow cabin. I have anxiety and assume it's their first time through the inlet.
Thanks for watching Bill
Use to go through the cut in our little 15' 10" citation with a 35 hp chrysler engine - sometimes comming in you would be riding between a wall of water that seemed like it was 6 ft higher than the bow. The current on the outgoing tide can really make some waves and the swirls can point you right at the rocks if not careful - this is a very dangerous inlet - you need to see it when the outgoing tide is at its peak. I have seen 25 ft boats stand on their tails and have to turn around and come back in when its rough.
That Chrysler 35 was a sweet engine to have! I have a 1969 Chrysler 20 to a Boston Whaler Sport 11 that belonged to dad and I have seen inlets such as these but in the Pacific side of my a country Costa Rica, never in the Caribbean side!
2:45 That Grady White trip 300s ate that up like nothing 😎
It sure appears from these videos that a lot of Florida grandfathers with large expensive boats like to spend a lot of quality time with their attractive young granddaughters. Bless their hearts...... 🤣🤣🤣
You meant----- The old boy's takin' his secretary out fishin' for "ROUND MOUTHS" !!!!!
@@CHARLESA-km5gz 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol

There seems to be a cut off point in boat price. Below that, it's husband, wife and kids or fishing buddies. Above, and it's old guys and scantily clad hoes.
I don’t understand why some of these folks don’t have lifejackets on, especially the little ones, just takes one rogue wave and over the side they go.
exactly!!!
You're absolutely correct! It's irresponsible otherwise, especially with children.
Isn't it a law
@@byronmcmickle4053 that’s an extremely weak excuse.
@@konewone361 yeah seems common sense to me but as they say...😆
Good video. But I wish there were more kids on bows. That's my favorite.
Amazing how few life jackets are worn!!
For a girl who power-boated and sailed on the states' big inland lakes, this type of boating scares the hoo-hah out of me. I wouldn't step onto any of those boats without a PFD firmly affixed to my body! And any child no matter what age, would be wearing one, too.
This is just Darwin taking care of business.
Yes, it could be the shorter distance between waves but comments about using a boat with a covered now are common advice for the great lakes.
Especially if that child is riding alone in the bow of a big white boat!!
Did you ever find your Hoo-hah??? There was one floating in the Miami river a while back on another channel, Just FYI....
I like how you name the boat & horsepower as well. Maybe consider length as well...
Excellent video!
Grady White makes the 252 proud.
The yellowfin is no joke. Would love to run the inlet with my bass boat. Those waves are a taste of the great lakes
100k boats in these videos are like the lake dinghy compared to the "common" boat ... insane power, great boats, just awesome :)
I totally agree
I love watching how the different brands of boats ride through this chop. Very educational
I love a good 'bow' movement and this vid had several.🤣
😂😂😅😉😁
Thanks for filming
0:16...nice boat!!🤘
😂😂💥💥🤣🤣Red handed 4:25 Hilarius !!! best boat vid ever....
I worked and sea trialed Formula boats for about six years, and have seen about three owners blow out the windshields at Hillsborrow Inlet. I was a passenger on one submarine. Since then, I have never been a passenger on a sea trial.
Nice scenery on the beach oh yeah 😎👍👍
The grady white kills it!
Beautiful boats!
Nice waves on the beach.😉
Hey the text down at the bottom looks great easy to read great color combo!
The inlet LOOKS dangerous in itself. The boats are beautiful and stately, and I would like to have one,but it's only a stately dream.👍😁
That grady white just bulldozing through 👍🏻
Freaking great boat...That is a great Atlantic boat. Dont see too many of them in the West.
I may buy a Grady. Or a Hatteras. Nothing else comes close to either.
Yellowfin cut through it like butter. Nice boat.
Expensive as hell too !
This reminds me of boating on Lake Ontario
I've been watching these vids lately and have a few questions for anyone that knows the answers.
1) Why are the waves so rough?
2) I see people who are going fast. Is there a logic to that? Is it better than going slow?
3) How far out does one have to go before things calm down? I'm assuming it does calm down at some point.
4) Are people trying to time the waves? Like throttling, then laying off, then hit the throttle hard again?
Never been on the ocean, thanks in advance.
Wind is the only thing that moves water, so if it's choppy in the inlet, it's choppy farther out, however the inlet does amplify the waves due to the approaching shoreline. On your other question, the physics of a boat hull means that forward motion elevates the boat a few feet above the water, so it's a bad idea to stall in choppy water. I still don't know why boats aren't constructed round, since you can't capsize a donut, but I guess they wouldn't move quickly either.
@@PETERJOHN101 oh you can capsize anything if you try
Super content!!!!
U.S are a dream for amators of high powers motors.
Cheers from France
Come for the boats stay for the girls
Very nice video thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you like it
Two children on the Yellow Fin without life jackets and one of them standing at the bow?! Their father needs some basic boat safety training.
Thinkin the same thing! Kids go under u will never get to them in that water
If I was their and seen that, I would of punched the dad in the nose.
Not much life jackets to be seen on anyone...sad sad sad.
I'm sure it wasn't their first day on the water. Did you see how high the inside of that boat was? Calm down
One bad bounce and that kid’s off the bow. Not impressed by the PFD safety procedures (or lack thereof) from a lot of these skippers.
So mesmerizing.
A welsh flag, about time , great video
🦃 reminds me of Thanksgiving with all that stuffing. 🦃
:17 Future leather couch material.
Rolling through here on the jet ski looks like fun.
That yellowfin is nice
So you either need a big ass boat, or the patience to go slow and take it easy and get there eventually, or use the tide to go in and out easily. Or the appropriate amount of nice ass in the boat. But you have to have the honorable mention of the jet ski at 4:54
Nice video 👍
Would of loved to see how that Malibu wakesetter handled coming back in.
People need to wear life vests and GET OFF THE BOW when going through waves like that. Children on the bow??? This is just plain ignorant.
Just what I was thinking..
Yep. I was thinking the same thing. Our kids always have their life jackets on when they are on the boat. No exceptions
Exactly
@LibertyIsDead The "sharp corners" sound bite is cute, but it lacks
common sense. Parents generally try to provide a safe living space for children. If the sharp corners are a genuine hazard to a child they should be padded, at least.
@@kerrys8125 i took a 19.6-foot boat out of dana pt and it would hit 50 mph - in nowhere near the waves you see here but my two little ones had lifejackets and were taught to swim in the ocean from day one. ps - when the boat started to show signs of cracking I got it repaired under warranty and sold it.
This channel is great
Tk
I enjoyed the whole video, but the first 24 seconds of the waves was fantastic!
That lil ski boat knew jus where 2 go what a pro
Loved the Welsh Dragon flag on that boat.
More than 60% isn't wearing a lifevest.. Do they all have a deathwish?
Nice rig at 10:30!!
That inlet is like hell on earth 🤣
Nice shoveling.
any one know the boat at 5:35, am loving the big front yard !
Well done
:20. She ain't no submarine !
0:21 damn that's nice
what was the wave height on this day? I love your vids
Aw I thought this was going to be a submarining compilation video lol
Too much money in Fla Too little brains in Fla
love the videos. cant wait till we move their and get a boat so I can make your video
Quality video equipment
That Grady was a tank💪💪
They are an extremely well-made boat and the design of their hulls can take on rough stuff for sure !
Man, you should get a permit and organize *RACES* there: 3 boats at a time, three sorties and three incomings around 2 buoys on the ends; the prize would be a full fillup of the tanks lol
Why aren't boats round? You can't capsize a donut.😜😎
Looks like the lake of the Ozarks every holiday weekend
That is so true! But back in the 60s and 70s it wasn't like that on LOTO. You could waterski all the way to the dam in a little 14 footer with an outboard Evinrude.
Used to picnic on the other side and walk through the tunnel to the beach
1:40 those mini hydrofoils really seem to work!
What a great flag 3.47 🙂
second scene...took a while to recognize the ship, was distracted
5:50 I was hoping for some pitch pole submarine action, but the driver was better than his boat.
Like that SeaDoo@ 9:29
I used to go fishing down the Hull near Boston which was a 2 hr. drive from my home, and there was no way that I would put in my boat if the water was rough, especially since I had to go through a gut which was the roughest part of the water. I noticed some boats handled the waves much better than others, even some of the smaller boats due to the configuration of their hulls. Of course you have to use your head if you are going to challenge the waves in the video, which means take it slow.
These guys should run their trims higher.. but great to watch
Maybe it's because I've always been a cold-water boater, but I'd never operate or ride in an open boat without wearing a PFD. Only time I take it off while underway is when I'm in a fully enclosed cabin. And I'm a strong swimmer!
Also, what's up with most people leaving their antennas down? Not going to get very good reception that way unless you're trying to hit a satellite!
About 90% of the outboard boaters on these videos have their engines trimmed all the way down, resulting in the cavitation tabs forcing the bow down. This gives a wet ride and the boat looks like struggling against every wave with unnecessary engine power, instead of letting the bow just ride over the crest of the waves....
Thank God another CZcams expert
Looks like quite a few got the memo about keeping power on in following seas.
This is a relatively smooth day at the Haulover.
Would love to see Deadliest Catch there
Again,, love your channel! Takes me back , As a native South Floridian it warms my cold Idaho blood watching. 😎 Keep it up. .....Government cut can get Dicey too.
Play you're talking down Miami young from Hollywood grew up there fish they're no longer see the pier proudly toward down I live in Georgia noun fast 35 years later
Every bow rider has the front screen open ! You can even see the decal that says close the thing whilst underway.
As for the life jackets they just don't exist. Merica !
I realize there may be physical limitations such as low bridges blocking sailboats but there area inlets where sailboats ingress and egress the intercostal. It would most likely lack much drama bit it might show some other aspects of boating not fueled by 1000 hp. We live on a 46 ft LOA Morgan center cockpit in Florida.
I was going to say something rude, but I'm just jealous, good for you
