"Hail to the Chief" is the personal anthem of the President of the United States, composed by James Sanderson. The song's playing accompanies the appearance of the President of the United States at many public events, it is also played at inauguration ceremonies.
For major official occasions, the United States Marine Band and other military ensembles are generally the performers, so directives of the United States Department of Defense have, since 1954, been the main basis for according it official status. It is preceded by a fanfare of four ruffles and flourishes when played for the President. The song is also played during a former President's state funeral after the casket is removed from the hearse. As it originated in the 19th century, the song is in the public domain due to its age.
Association with the President first occurred in 1815, when it was played to honor both George Washington and the end of the War of 1812 (under the name "Wreaths for the Chieftain").
On July 4, 1828, the U.S. Marine Band performed the song at a ceremony for the formal opening of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, which was attended by President John Quincy Adams. Andrew Jackson was the first living President to have the song used to honor his position in 1829, and it was played at Martin Van Buren's inauguration in 1837. Julia Tyler, second wife of John Tyler, requested its use to announce the arrival of the President. Her successor as First Lady, Sarah Childress Polk, encouraged its regular use in this manner after it was used at James Polk's inauguration; William Seale says, "Polk was not an impressive figure, so some announcement was necessary to avoid the embarrassment of his entering a crowded room unnoticed. At large affairs the band ... rolled the drums as they played the march ... and a way was cleared for the President."

Apart from the immense density of true facts in this video, which is probably unmatched on CZcams, this is an incredible work of coordination, singing and video editing. I really enjoy your videos, and they give me hope that this misery were in will end some day (hopefully this year!)

I'm in the process of reading that one right now, about halfway through. Unfortunately, I can't get through too much of it in one sitting, so much stuff that just makes me cringe, so I can only get through about 15 to 20 pages of it at a time before I have to just put it back down for a while. I always thought my own family was sort of dysfunctional, but it was nothing compared to this batch of fools!

Julia Turco: I would rather have authenticity from my politicians in their allegiances, not to corporations and billionaires, like President Trump and most of them, but to average citizens’ interests, like AOC or Bernie Sanders. Very few politicians are not controlled by lobbyists and corporate $$$ The way President Trump is. He Tweets racist messages out of control, but he does obey his financial masters.

This is a brilliantly written portrait of the 45th president of the United States. You captured who this man is, and what he has meant to our country. It should be used as a teaching tool , and the music, as always, makes it all the more poignant. You are an amazing talent and a patriot. Thank you for all your work Don.

This is actually one guy who sings all the tracks separate and edits them together into one song. His name is Don Caron, as the title said, and every image on the internet has a stunning similarity with everyone in the video. I think this is an even greater work if you take into account that this was one individual doing it all. Truly amazing!

I can NOT defend every action, however, how "deplorable" was Pres. Tump being when he created economic opportunity zones for persons of color resulting in the LOWEST POC unemployment rate in history? How "deplorable" was he being when he pardoned numerous POC imprisoned for non-violent crimes? How "deplorable" was he being when he, finally, secured our Southern Border, making a dent in the drug & human trafficking. Even tho MOST illegal entrants mean no harm & just want a chance to earn a higher quality life, NO SINGLE NATION can be the world's lifeboat. Pres. Trump is the 1st one in over 50 years to recognize that. I'm sure you'll disagree, but I hope you'll consider the long term, big picture. Peace to you.
