At 1:47 i love the way Michael turned his head to sofia after he said what he said about brandon, that tells me that Michael was SO MUCH MORE than those idiotic headlines made him seen. R.I.P Michael your co-stars from The Crow are missing you from down here on earth
Damn, you can hear the pain in Michael's voice, you know that man carried the weight of Brandon's death on his shoulders until the day he died. I feel so bad for him. Rest easy, my friend, maybe know you're at piece with Brandon and letting him know what the hell went wrong.
I can definitely hear it in his voice. He carried that severe guilt for a long time. We all know it wasn't his fault but still, you cannot help on what happened. Hope Brandon's spirit knows he never met to hurt him
It was absolutely his fault that he killed Brandon. You never ever fire a weapon in general that you haven’t personally checked and when you are going to point it at a person in theatrical play and pull the trigger you have a responsibility to them and yourself to be certain that you are safe to do so otherwise when it goes wrong, as it did in this case, you are responsible for the outcome
I feel bad for Michael Massee, you can see he is still harboring the guilt over the death of Brandon. But Brandon's mother Linda know and told Michael it was not his fault. WE miss you Brandon, thank you for giving us The Crow. Michael Massee is a good man...
***** yeah but you can't deny the fact that he killed him by accident he carried that gun and fired regardless what the prop people were just incompetent jerks. He will have to carry that all his life that's unfortunately his reality now. If you ever read this Michael know that we all support you in your grief. Brandon was mature and professional enough to understand the circumstances and am sure he already forgave you.
***** sorry to take it on you. not intentional. i wished things would have a different turn for Brandon. just frustrated about the whole thing. peace man..
"sure he already forgave you". what's to forgive? they were both acting, doing what they were supposed to do. The gun was lodge with a real bullet. Michael did his scene like he was supposed to and a real bullet came out and killed Lee. That's it! 100% percent not Massee's fault. He had no knowledge what the gun contain inside. So there should be no guilt on his part, but instead maybe sadness and maybe some disappointment that Brandon's life ended so abrupt. unbelievable!!! One minute your building up Michael that it a accident, next minute your slapping him with the ghost of Brandon Lee, telling him he may or may not be forgiven by some fantasy entity. remind me to never, bring you to any funerals that someone accidentally killed, You would totally bum them out worst, than what they are already feeling.
GavinJ37 Linda sued everyone directly involved in her son’s death. Michael, although not at fault, was handling the gun that fired the shot that killed Brandon.
Im really surprised but very greatful to see Michael Massee there at the remembrance of Brandon Lee.. I always think that when Michael Broke his silence about having accidently killed Lee, Hes always shown great courage.. Even here hes wearign sunglasses.. What a horrible thing to live with. Keep going Michael.. RIP Brandon...
i feel like they almost didnt have much to say about Brandon, one reason being because they didnt spend much time with him aside from meeting on set and doing a few scenes together and the other reason being that they've been asked about him for more than a decade and have surely run dry on what else to say about someone they unfortunately never really knew at all.
Giusto Brandon Lee non sarà mai dimenticato...... sarà ricordato sempre ! Il tempo non cancellerà mai i bei ricordi ! Brandon era un mito e lo sarà per sempre
Michael Wincott is someone I really wish came to comic conventions . Top Dollar is easily one of my favourite villains ,just Wincott's performance and his voice make him suitably malevolent. From what I gather Michael Wincott is actually quite a private man outside of acting. He appears at film festivals, but outside of acting, that's it.
I think Michael Massee was the real victim on this accident, because he had to deal with the fact that he killed a man with his bare hands, by accident.
+zombiesnyder13 And poor Rochelle. 12 years old, first big role, and her co-star dies in a traumatic way. No wonder she didn't act in anything else for like 15 years! I just watched this again last night, and the scene between them in the graveyard where he tells her she's just gonna have to forgive him for not saying goodbye was heartbreaking.
@@SilverFlame819 oh yeah that really hits hard now. Must have been hard for Rochelle. But I really REALLY feel bad for Michael. That guy had no CLUE that some stupid douchebag loaded the gun with cheap dummies made from real bullets instead of blanks. I hope that prop guy who chose to cut corners that day will remember what he did for the rest of his days
@@melissawright1979 I have a book about the making of the movie that says the gun was loaded with blanks, but a fragment of one of the bullets that they used for filming the close-up shots was lodged inside the gun, and when they loaded the blanks, the little piece of metal got stuck in one of the blanks. If that's true, not really a fuck-up on anyone's part, just some shit luck. :(
So far, I've met Ernie Hudson, Tony Todd, and James O'Barr. I'd love to speak with any of the other cast members, especially Michael Massee, Rochelle Davis, Michael Wincott, Bai Ling, Anna (Thomson) Levine, or Jon Polito.
Ernie and Tony were great, with a semi-sarcastic sense of humor. James is much the same way, but there's something else, too - a kind of "inner despair", for lack of a better description. I guess its understandable, considering his career's built on a deeply personal tragedy...but he also seems at peace with his life now. He's married with two kids, and I've met him six times at conventions over the last ten years. I also got to speak with Rochelle Davis on Facebook last year; she's very bold and honest, not caring what most think of her. She's a Mom now as well, but has been through tough times. If you can handle her fairly "adult" vocabulary, she's nice for the most part. I asked her about Michael Wincott, and she said I wouldn't want to meet him. Her opinion was that he's not much different in reality, from Top Dollar.
@@Moviefan2k4 I'm so dissapointed to hear this about Michael Wincott,he let me with an impression that he might be a good guy in reality but now after what you said about him... 😞

Well, we don’t really know what went on behind the scenes. If there was anything bad or odd, they’re not gonna say it. They’re gonna be discreet about it. But you’re right, I noticed that, too on how discreet they were. We didn’t know the guy, Brandon. We only see his image. They did a good job on the movie and it’s cool to see them there but we don’t know these people.
I know for a fact that michael never saw the movie and I can't say that I blame him. It may have been very hard for him to even come to this reunion with the rest of the cast to honor brandon lee but he bravely came back to pay his respect. He was also brave enough to move on and continue acting after his 1 year time off and brandon lee would be very proud of him that he didn't quit acting. RIP Brandon and Michael
I almost didn't recognise Sofia aka Shelly, I wonder if Eliza was present during the flash back scenes with Eric and Shelly or she had full trust in Brandon to be professional and loyal
