When you play constantly on Expert, playing songs on Easy is so boring and frustrating because you’re missing notes you know you can definitely hit 🥲

@@el_lotus7 what's happening is , the person who's playing has been playing expert so much that his muscles are more tuned to fast approaching notes,along with the fact that they are more accurate with the music. Easy on the other hand is too slow for the song and his muscle memory, hence making it difficult for him

the expert gameplay is a bot because it holds whatever the last note was and only changes right when the next note comes, you can only see during the breaks though.

The 3 songs I couldn't beat on expert was One, Free Bird, and Through the fire and flames. I was in 7th-8th grade. I haven't played in 13 years and I wont be able now. I dont understand why I was so good. lol

Historically, rythm games have had 4 levels of difficulty. An easy one, which is so easy it tends to even desync from the song, a hard one which is so ridiculously hard it tends to add even 4 notes per actual song note, one below it which is the most loyal to the song, and one below it which is there because the easy one is so easy it just smooths out the progression. If it has more than 4 difficulties, the rest are there to further smooth out the progression. This song is so freaking hard that you can't go lower than Expert without taking something out.
Not gonna lie, playing the song on easy as a kid hit different, felt as if I was on top of the world
I play on Medium difficulty usually. But as epic as Through the Fire and Flames is, it's still pretty hard even on lower difficulties. I have only passed it on Medium a few times. But I like how when you beat Career mode, you play this song during the credits without any possibility of failing the song.

I was in 8th grade when this came out, took the whole middle school by storm. You weren’t cool until you had the Inhuman Achievement. I’ll never forget beating this song on expert for the first time, having that achievement pop up on my 360… truly one of my favorite gaming eras
I really wish they gave easy a blue note as the last note in the song. Would make this song even more legendary to have the only blue note on easy in the entire series.
This was a hella cool video to see how different it gets as the difficulty goes up. Good job man!
I remember when we were kids my brother wanted to 100% everyone in the game and he had run this one so much he could play the entire opening with closed eyes on the hardest difficulty
I beat this song once on expert, and even though I've continued to play guitar hero and clone hero to this day, i swear it was a fluke.
IIRC, the last non-DLC song to be FCd in GH3 was this song ... on Hard. It was FCd on Expert before Hard. Not because Hard is more difficult but because it's more difficult than people who typically play Hard are used to and the people who typically play Expert don't play on Hard. Basically, one of the top players in GH3 just noticed that no one had ever FCd it on Hard, so he decided to be the first.

i played it in clone hero now i cant get my hands to sync to the timing in Gh3 cuz i had my note speed 12-10 and the default is like 7 and its all about waiting
I find that hyperspeed makes gh3 much easier to play
I play on 12, but songs im familiar with I might turn it up to 14 on occasion
i remember, as a child i was so proud of myself for being able to play TTFAF on Easy...well, i am 20 now, still playing this game with all my heart and well...i can only do normal mode which is kinda ashaming ngl xD

*Expert* = Full Notes on 5 Frets
*Hard* = Nerfed Expert
*Medium* = Simplified rhythm on 4 frets
*Easy* = Basic rhythm on 3 Frets
there are 5 difficult levels on GH3:
There are Easy < Normal
Easy: Not bad, I could FC it.
Medium: Solid, kinda hard to FC.
Hard: Pretty challenging, I would fail.
Expert: Feels like hell.

Ironically enough, Hard is the more accurate chart. Anyone that FC's on Expert has to be using a bot of some kind because of the sure ludicrousness of note placement that makes it impossible for your fingers to be where they need to be in time. This is pretty much why it's probably much, much easier to play on guitar (especially when you're not doing the synth parts) and why Herman failed trying to play this.
Now it seems like you have to do it on at least hard to get something that even remotely resembles the correct speed cause otherwise it feels off

Easy looks to be more challenging than normal. Mostly because the rhythms don't lineup as well as the higher difficulty versions

I got scammed for a broken controller on Craigslist. But at least I can pretend😂 I'm so metal that I play all the levels of difficulty at the same time.
Hard is the perfect balance. It's challenging but doable. Where expert definitely requires a ton of practice. Hard only took me 5 times to get used to but I've never mastered expert.

i always thought they dropped the ball on easy. there are way harder songs on easy mode, it's almost insulting how simple they made the mkst infamous [official] GH song ever.

There's a huge gap between hard and expert, for a good controller player easy, normal and hard, are easy af, but onexpert you must have developed a muscular memory for this

You think easy and medium are easy but in fact they are very hard. Cuz the hit window is crazy small I get anxiety trying to fc easy and medium and I’m a expert player
hard is the hardest difficulty i've managed to complete since i played with a controller.
i can say the pain is worth it.
EDIT: I now play with Gamepad mode in Clone Hero, in keyboard, osu!mania style.
