The mtx weren't available before release. And since I didn't have them I didn't think of them and forgot about them by the time I finished the game. I've always been anti mtx. But if that answer doesn't satisfy you then thank you for watching as long as you have and goodbye.
explain to me then if you are anti mtx why would you not mention that the game had it when you knew it was present. I see two options here, you are just incompetent and really should not be listened to for any game review purposes or you are actively malicious being wary to bite the hand that feeds, wanting to get early review copies for future games like MH wilds.
@@Stone_Strongholdthat can be said about every reviewer ever I don’t think I saw a single person mention the mtx, I can understand your frustration but to call him incompetent and not trust worthy for any review ever is going so far and beyond. In this video he literally says to not buy the game and to request refunds and people should be mad yet you didn’t mention him saying any of that, which I feel is probably the most important thing to be said.
Gotta get outta full priced games. I can understand SOME free games having them like Warframe where all content is technically free but you can buy stuff if you want to avoid the hassle of trading.
Why? They're not pay to win items that you can only get by buying. They're convenience transactions for people who are too lazy to grind or who don't have time. The existence of microtransactions has 0 effect on my gameplay of dragons dogma 2. I am not missing out on anything gameplay-changing by not purchasing these items. Why should I care?
Being able to start a new game isn't some esoteric issue. It's a basic game feature. It being gone on launch isn't a mistake, it's intentional, and it's going to take a lot to convince me they simply forgot about it or found it hard to implement.
@@ulove3240 Nobody's saying give them a free pass, obviously its a major fuck up that deserves backlash, but the guy above is pretending its some intentional move by the developers, to what? Get people to buy a new copy for every playthrough? It is intentional. Literally every other game out there has save files because they aren't games you play from A -B and end. They forwent this option, as they did with a lot of other quality of life things because that's their vision. Just like fast travel. @@fobo3361
I never buy games on release for exactly these reasons. These days, pretty much all games, even good ones, have bad launches. Just wait 3 months minimum.
This generation has gotten a bit ridiculous with $70 games that also want to nickel and dime us, or feel incomplete at release. Edit: I'm not reading the comments so don't bother.
In all honesty I'm fine with 70$ price increase since it's seems natural if you apply inflation and stuff, it makes sense... But for them to add mtx on a full priced game like portcrystal/riftstone sends a very weird message to the players..
Microtransactions are awful. But from a development perspective, $70 is a steal... I don't think you know what goes into development. I'm speaking as a software dev manager, and it blows my mind how the average consumer does not understand this.
@@avidcup063Couldn’t agree more, I swear people are just wanting to bitch about something. Optimization fixes are on the way, microtransactions in this SINGLEPLAYER game don’t make the game worst for anyone other than the people who choose to buy them, and save files are coming as well. Fundamentally the gameplay is amazing, people need to stop trying to deter others because of their own shitty opinions on the microtransactions
@PureCapsaicin I get being mildly annoyed about the mtx. I get being annoyed if you are experiencing major performance issues (I'm not). I especially get the one save file complaint, the only one that truly annoys me. That said, people are a little ridiculous in their levels of fervor to oppose this game. I bought it and don't regret it.
I can understand how you didn't think twice about the mtx in the game they've been a thing in Capcom games for years I'm surprised it even became the topic of discussion.

@@oldcowbbActually I think it's a bad thing when corps like Capcom try to take advantage of "stupid people" after selling a $70 game with performance issues and infested with DRM.
It’s almost like they made them as worthless as possible to make sure you wouldn’t buy them and that it was clear they were unnecessary and limited as well.
@@daveyjoneslocker4703 Then why bother? I agree it’s far from the worst thing capcom has done, but why slap on pointless nickel and dime garbage that’s just going to piss people off? It’s basically just an impatience tax for zoomers
The fact that there is no way to start over is insane. I was thinking about getting this game, but now I can safely assume it’s not worth my time and money. Thanks capcom, you just saved me $70.00.
They released a statement addressing the outrage from the consumers and they did confirm they would be adding in the ability to restart saves without having to manually delete the file. Honestly Capcom is one of the more vexing cases of game devs. They truly can release some genuinely great games, but they always manage to fuck up on some other aspects of their titles, like the needless MTX seen in DMC 4 & 5, alongside RE and MH.
You can though, you just delete your current save. The more insane part is that you can’t have more than one character at a time. In a fucking RPG. Where part of the fun is making multiple characters and experimenting with different builds/classes. It’s nuts that they thought this was a good idea.
@@Kyree6703 oh well they will change a thing... i guess this is their first game, probably the first RPG ever made so we have to forgive them, this has never been done before so they didn't know. yeah, i don't care capcom stop with the excuses i'm not buying this.
most people playing this game, especially those that didnt play the first game, will not know these DLC items are worthless. How is a new player meant to know that a few hours into the game youll have the option to buy a lot of these items with in game currency? Especially with all this noise going on and the misinformation out there. These mtx are terrible and shoe horned in and stupid, but their inclusion further erodes ht etolerance gamers have to their presnce not only in games in general, but ESPECIALLY in single player, full price releases. Edit: Also i guarantee yuou that if people mass refund the game and/or dont buy it, the lesson capcom learns will not be "MTX bad". Itll be "Dragons Dogma bad. We never should have greenlit a sequel" and "Devs that made Dragons Dogma 2 bad. They put out a product that had peoor performance, thus negatively impacting consumer feedback and sales".
Thank you bro. Everyone is acting like the MTX are destroying the flow of the game when they're actually completely useless. I don't like MTX either, but damn, I wish people wouldn't just spit complete misinformation. 😔
What was the last AAA game by a huge company like Capcom, that released a game unplayable because of microtransactions? Think about it. I agree that MTX sucks and shouldn't exist, but there's this fallacy of "pay to win single player games" that just don't exist. You could argue that some games are designed to be boring to justify "time savers" but if anybody found an item in a store that they actually NEED to finish the game I'd like them to show me.
To your edit, I absolutely hate how true that is. The executives will _never_ blame their poor decisions or predatory business model for their failings. No, they'll blame literally _everyone else,_ from the players for not buying the game to the devs for releasing a game with poor performance (assuredly due to time/budget constraints imposed upon them by the executives). it's _always_ someone else's fault and then they punish those people instead of themselves, resulting in good devs losing their jobs and/or players never getting a new entry in a beloved franchise. God, is there anything worse than greedy corporate executives? They ruin everything they touch!
youre putting up a strawman. Anyone stating that the game is unplayable due to the mtx is using hyperbole. Ive seen people make the argument that the game is intentionally made less convenient to push people towards pay for convenience or acceleration items, but anyone stating X mtx is the reason this game is bad isnt engaging in good faith. That being said, just cuz an mtx doesnt ruin the game doesnt justify its inclusion, nor does it mean we should just accept it. If its so useless that no one has any reason to buy it, then it just shouldnt be there. That way they dont have to place always online requirements and DRM into our single player games that mean we cant play them without internet, and performance takes a hit due to shit DRM implementation. If those arent good enough reasons for you to say they shouldnt be included then idk what to tell you. @@Ocean5ix
Can’t blame people for thinking the lack of a restart button was intentional; let us not forget the randomized purification system from the Bitterblack Isle DLC that costed rift crystals, which you could conveniently buy more of on their store after you got the same weapon or armor 3 times in a row
I wouldn't hold not mentioning performance and microtransactions before against you in particular, but regardless of how impactful these might be, I think a thorough review should bring them up. People really care about monetization in videogames and it does really matter. It'll make your future reviews all the more helpful.
I had planned to buy this game on release, but at 95 dollars(before tax) in Canada I simply can't justify it anymore purely on principle. Such a shame that corporate greed has once again tainted what should have been an exciting day for the community.
What's baffling is that the game has an online system that improves the game to the point of pirating it being settling for an experience like 70% worse. They didn't need Denuvo.
The madness is you can’t restart new game without going through shit, it’s single player game have no basic option. It was there before in the original game

the reason behind not being able to restart the save is because someone at capcom thought it would be genius to tie the denuvo implementation to player saves, so every save counts as an activation on the licence, which is why players who manually delete the saves can get lock out of the game after 5 times, its incredibly stupid xD
dude, actually try the game first. don’t just hop on the angry bandwagon. people have really blown this waaaaaaaay out of proportion. just don’t buy the mtx garbage and have some fun.
So, on the "start over" thing- I decided to replay DMC5 whilst waiting for DD2 to release, and was surprised to find that you also can't truly start over in that game- Also Itsuno's game prior to DD2. It seems to be a strange directorial preference.
DMC5 doesn't need a wipe save button, it's called "choosing stage 1 in the level select" If the issue is unlocks, you can disable most of the stuff you buy in the shop. I think basically all new moves can be disabled, I actually tried it once before. Now, DD2 definitely should have come with a "new game" button idk why they didn't, but it feels really weird to point fingers at another game that kinda doesn't need one at all.
@@gamemaniac2013 "Truly" start over. I was quite specific. I wanted to re-earn my skills and such. I was also quite specific that it could indicate that it's a preference Itsuno has as a director. I didn't even criticize it, I just said I was surprised. You seem to have assumed that I'm somehow defending the lack of a new game option in DD2.
DMC5 is mission based, not a RPG, you “start over” every time you select a difficulty and mission, also not an Itsuno flavour, the original Dmc1 from Kamiya didn’t even have a mission select, while DMC3 from Itsuno did have both new game and mission select
trying to truly start fresh in a HackN'Slash like DMC is unnecessary. but it is an entire different argument if the gane has heavy emphasis on RPG aspects
You can't put the cat back in the bag on microtransactions...imagine what the actual revenue number is on that..that's essentially free money for them, after the fact...there's no way that they're ever going to cut that stream off , and there's no way we can get enough people to just stop buying it..even if only a small amount of people bought it, it's still enough to justify such little work
Sure you can put the cat back in the bag. The beauty and genius of Capitalism is that you can vote with your wallet. If alcoholics can switch brands and crush Budlight then so can gamers. Just stop seeking instant gratification and stand on your principles.
@serfillustrated4018 budlight isnt even close to crushed lmao your example goes directly against your statement alot of people boycotted budlight because of a way worse reason than mtx and then people forgot and budlight still owns a large portion of the beer market. This isn't the first Capcom game to have MTX; RE4 and even MH World have them. It's just that they're all cosmetics that have no influence on gameplay, with some exceptions but nothing that ever affected the balance of the game. I imagine the reviewers just rolled their eyes when they realized their presence, not too surprised, and went on their way playing.
The first game actually had more MTX way back when it first released which might be why these weren't noticable. The difference is, Dark Arisen the DLC had a number of quality of life improvements that rendered most of them pointless but more importantly you could start the game over. This ridiculous sequel is charging for a new character!!
The fck. I always see this "charging for a new char". Stop lying or believing sht you read on the internet. Even if you pay 1 million dollars, you can't do that as there is literally no option in the game aside from deleting your local file and disabling steam cloud.
This MTX plague has affected their games for so goddamn long. This DLC issue is a decade old, and it's just not getting fixed, no matter how much players complain. I mean, SF5, SF6, DMC 4, DMC 5, DD 1, DD 2, MHW, MHR, RE4 Re, RE Village, and most of their other games. Those are just the main games that I know of.
Personally, I think the microtransaction issue with Dragon's Dogma 2 is more or less similar to how you can purchase Red Orbs in DMC5. It won't affect anyone as long as they are actually playing to enjoy what the game has to offer.
Disregarding the performance, MTX in full price game feel like this: Imagine ordering a nice meal you actually enjoy, it's good. Say it's meatballs with extra olives (or something whatever, not the point). Then the waiter comes up, sent by the manager, not the chef, with a plate. On the plate there are more olives (but there are already plenty in the dish). Thing is, the olives are wrapped in the kind of shitty, stinking grey toilet paper and cost a dollar a piece. Sure they are not needed... but WHAT THE FUCK was the manager even thinking? And the paper definately does not help
Couldn't have said it better myself. I feel bad for the DD2 devs who just wanted to make a good game, but I can't condone predatory business practices.
What's done is done, but I'd definitely recommend including your opinion on such predatory monetization practices in future games you review, when they feature them. It's absolutely important information that people who value your input would wanna be aware of. Especially in egregious situations like this, since people who aren't familiar with your content or haven't heard your opinions on microtransactions before could wrongly assume you were trying to cover Capcom's ass in that regard.
Wow this dude made 2 videos defending himself lmao bruh just admit it you’re another yongyea. You glazed the game and hid important info about it, then it came out and people called your bs. You’re acting like a baby
Capcom also wasn't hiding the MTX from us, they said openly on the game page that the items would be available for purchase after release. All of those items are available in game and easily obtainable, it's unfortunate that people are misinforming or blatantly lying about shit because they either don't know what they're talking about or are just hoping on the band wagon. Capcom games have also had optional MTX for probably 10-12 years and nobodies bitched until now. Im not happy with MTX but I also don't support misinformation or mindless hate. There's genuine issues that are more important, the performance and denuvo for example.

You are a great content creator and I’m glad you made this video. We ate way too good the past few years with some amazing FromSoft titles and I think we all forgot that Capcom and Bandai are not cut from the same cloth.
The no new game option might actually be a design choice by Itsuno. Someone replayed Devil May Cry 5 and saw that there is no new game option on that game as well.
@@nugget3687 they're talking about the new game option when you wanted to start over. I don't remember if it's there on the 1st game because I've played it on PS3 back then and it was easy to delete a save there.
I agree with what you say about microtransactions, but I find the sheer attention DD2 has over it bizarre. I hope at least people keep this up over Capcoms next games because I don't recall such a thing over the last two Monster Hunter games having several hundred pounds worth of such microtransactions.
Doesn't Capcom have microtransactions in ALL of their recent games? Did people post a ton of negative reviews for those games too? I know for certain the beloved Monster Hunter World has like 200 microtransactions and it's currently sitting at "very positive" on steam. So what is the difference?
Your argument is "people once didn't care, so why should they care now?". Really really dumb argument. Just think about things in society that we once didn't care as much about that we do now. Social things that may have changed in the last 15-20 years for example. Because ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Wait really? Outward is getting a sequel. Man i wish more developers focus on game mechanics like outward. It truly understood what rpg games or MMORPG games need. Not button press fast actions. It needs inconvenience and you grind for convenience. After spending so many hours, you realize now you can actually get more stronger since inconvenience is out of the way but having more strength doesn't means more power buttons but means to deal with more things to handle on your plate. You cant do everything. Outward is revolutionary, especially the magic class.
Love the honesty here. I'm in the camp that doesn't give a shit about framerate or the microtransactions so i wasn't asking for or expecting a video on these things but you handled it nicely. Capcom is a chimaera with two heads: one is the devs, the other the execs. The devs make great games, but the execs must always smear some microtransactions on those great games to tarnish their luster. I'm currently having fun with the game on PS5, even though it often hurts my eyes and I wish the camera's max distance was much further back.
No new game option and performance are my issue. The micro, from what others are saying and even what I found out from the bit I played, are optional additions if you want to do all of that sooner in the game. The items they are selling are all things you can acquire in the game its self, just at different times and periods.
I despise microtransactions, but having not yet played DD2 my question is this: what exactly is the difference between these and the ones Capcom have always put in their other games? MH World, for example, a game i love, is absolutely brimming with crappy microtransactions as well. Granted, that game has a huge multiplayer component, but other single player games developed by Capcom, such as RE4 and DMC, also has them. I am glad there is backlash about this, but why now? 🤔
It doesn't. If you love the game, but you don't like MTX, just play the game and don't buy MTX. People just need something to hate. They think they will save the game industry, but is just a lost fight People were against DLC 20 years ago, now we are celebrating our favorites games have a good DLC. Just buy and play what you like, people opinions doesn't matter 😊
MHW did not sell player power nor progression. I personally dragged both RE4 and DMC5 for selling these, not sure why others did not, And as far as DD2, it was hidden from consumers what they intended to mtx....Along with player power/progression, theres items that are sold in DD2 mtx that CANNOT be acquired any other way. The explorers campsite and the Heartfelt pendant. Ive written both big and small channels the last 14ish hours about this once I saw this crap. This should always be lambasted in ANY game, it shouldnt be there at all.
When an individual makes a mistake, I can write it off as a learning experience. When an entire AAA gaming company makes a mistake on a highly awaited sequel, it's premeditated.
I'm kind of in the same boat as Rata. Maybe I'm here for a bit more of an ignorant reason than Rata, since I didn't look at the MTX since I never had any plans to use them in the first place. 9 hours into my playthrough and everything is pretty smooth so far, bar 20fps in town at 1080p with an rtx3080 and a ryzen 7 5800x3d. Honestly I didn't even realize how many MTX there were until I hopped off the game and looked at YT and saw videos like this one. The character re-make MTX is especially egregious though; not everyone is so computer savvy to know how to locate their save file and move it to a backup folder and just swap them out, so Casual Andys will be tempted to buy into it. I would be tempted since I like playing multiple characters in rpgs and dedicating different characters to different builds. FWIW Rata, I appreciate all the coverage and have been watching your content long enough to know where you're coming from. You and Luke Stephens were both pretty candid about the game coming up to release and I still hold your word in very high regard.
Holy shit 20 fps at 1080p with those specs is awful. On one hand I’m glad capcom is getting backlash regarding mtx, on the other hand it’s perplexing and frustrating that good content creators and devs are getting hate over a really good game that has the exact same mtx that previous games from the publisher had. Not being allowed to have multiple character slots in an rpg is insane though.
Its important to note that the MTX does not remake your character. It gives you the in-game character appearance changing item that you can already buy for RC.
A tip on performance I found. The game CPU bound due to the Pawns. So if you increase graphics fidelity you can shift more load from the cpu to the gpu. I have seen around a 10-15% increase in cities doing this. But more importantly it helped smooth out frame times. So now even when its 30-40 fps it still feels smooth.
I gotta say ive played about 10 hours and had no idea about it they dont push it on you and everything in the store is useless early on you can get everything they are offering ... only a dumbass would buy anything available and thats on them ... yes i dont like it but its a nonissue honestly... also im on ps5 and this game runs well no chugging at all lol
Same experience here, I really don't get the crazy bad reaction. The game is really good. I'm playing on pc with a mid range rig and its running at 60 max settings 90 percent of the time and after 10 Hours not a single crash or bug. I think everyone is just jumping on the rage bandwagon on this one. I didn't even know there were micro transactions until reviews started mentioning it. Everything you can buy are just shortcuts for things you get in game after about an hour of playing.
Yeah im on ps5 played 5 hours so far and didn't even know it had mtx. I've gotten lots of loot and money just buy exploring and looting and quests it's all goods.
Lol all you youtubers and streamers, are talking about how its bad to buy games like this as it promotes bad publisher behaviors, while you all sit playing the game. That doesnt work, sorry. You guys also need to avoid promoting this game, and if anything.
Content creators making content?? So wild, so unacceptable... but seriously, If anyone plays the game and enjoys it, that is fine, it is up to the individual.

And everyone made fun of thaycand were worried about how that would affect the gridning especially for the red obrs dlc. It's not like dmc fans were happy about it being there.
I honestly don't get how people took this long to complain about it. But I guess in a climat full of broken AAA release and with little money to spare people are finally waking up, sadly I already bought the game with a key so no refound. At least I didn't pay full price
Totally agree with you on the part with the dev interview. If you make it a point that walking is part of the game... but put fast travel as a paid DLC, it's not a good look. I can't believe you.
You actually can't unlock fast travel with the paid item. It just adds one to the maximum number of registered location. People just like to complain for the sake of it.

If Elden Ring and BG3 had those things, those games would still be just as amazing as they are now. And you would have missed out because of some pointless grandstanding for internet e-cred. But by all means, you're only punishing yourself. The rest of us are enjoying another one of the greatest gaming experiences ever. No one hates games more than gamers.

Micro Transactions gotta get outta the gaming industry
They won't disappear until people stop buying them. At the end of the day, in a capitalist economy, the almighty dollar speaks louder than words.

@@Ocean5ix
I'm sure the game is perfectly playable without MTX, but I'll still refuse to buy it as a matter of principle.
Can’t blame people for thinking the lack of a restart button was intentional; let us not forget the randomized purification system from the Bitterblack Isle DLC that costed rift crystals, which you could conveniently buy more of on their store after you got the same weapon or armor 3 times in a row

Blame Horse Armor DLC from 2005.
Street Fighter 5 $50 turtle skins was just them breaking the camels back and DD2 is them just whipping the camel for no longer moving.
Personally, I think the microtransaction issue with Dragon's Dogma 2 is more or less similar to how you can purchase Red Orbs in DMC5. It won't affect anyone as long as they are actually playing to enjoy what the game has to offer.

Whats is the OST playing? I love it.
MH Wild is gonna be wild
both Rise ane World are already filled with microtransactions
if you think denuvo is wild.
I always laugh at this ignorant MH shills when their favorite game has worse MTX than DD2 lol.
wild is gonna be fire can’t wait for that and gta 6
I’ve seen 15+ reviews saying “that I should buy the game now” and none of them address these issues. This video is very genuine, your honesty is appreciated, thank you.
because these "issues" really dont matter AT ALL... the MTX in the game is completely unnecessary and all of it can be gotten in the game with minimal work... its soo worthless it might as well not even exist because nobody is going to be buying that with real money when you can earn it ingame in like an hour or 2... without even trying.
Bro stop lying, every single review speak about the performance problems.
Nobody talk about the MTX cause it’s not an issue at all, it doesn’t change anything to your gamew
No actually, it isn't. This came out after the game released. Prior to that he touched on none of this. Nice try
If you are buying on console, you won't regret it. Can't speak for PC. Game is amazing
isn't the background music from Golden Sun ?
I’m sorry Toski. It must be crazy to have to apologize for Capcom’s inability to deliver a stable game and I’m sure even though they disclosed the mtx that they were probably less than enthusiastic to make it public knowledge when they should have. You are a great content creator and I’m glad you made this video.
We ate way too good the past few years with some amazing FromSoft titles and I think we all forgot that Capcom and Bandai are not cut from the same cloth.
The performance issues and missing new game option lead me to speculate the developers didn't meet the deadline.
The no new game option might actually be a design choice by Itsuno. Someone replayed Devil May Cry 5 and saw that there is no new game option on that game as well.
@@cherdnad2630The first game also only let you have one character, it isn't a thing they forgot it's just how dragons dogma has always worked

What was the music at the end of the video? I know it from somewhere.
"Dance of Pales" from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
I believe it's from Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Don't know the name of the song.
The differences people seem to mention the most often are DD being singleplayer and $70. Also, Monster Hunter doesn't perform badly.
MTX for skins are one thing. REMOVAL OF FAST TRAVEL TO SELL MTX is a new thing.
They want to charge you every time you edit your character’s appearance. It’s freaking ridiculous.
@@quintint3973 they didn't remove it, it was never supposed to be there in the first place, if DD1 is any indication.
The last thing I expected was Elemental Stars playing in the background. ☀️
Was it only the 2 character edit items?
Y'all see the Outward 2 trailer?
No. What's it gotta do with this?
@@quintint3973 Nothing. Outward is just one of my favorite games and I’m glad a sequel is in development

Also, people forget or were unaware that the first game had all these things including a single save file etc and the game was still incredible either way so it be how it do🤷♂️
Just because you’re happy eating shit doesn’t mean anyone else wants to so if you don’t wanna accept reality and act like abysmal performance and mtx aren’t issues shut up

Capcom is a chimaera with two heads: one is the devs, the other the execs. The devs make great games, but the execs must always smear some microtransactions on those great games to tarnish their luster.
I'm currently having fun with the game on PS5, even though it often hurts my eyes and I wish the camera's max distance was much further back.
capcom has lost goodwill on this! its sad to see.
Good. They deserve it.
Capcom insists on launching games with Denuvo despite consistent performance issues.
Denuvo is an issue, but the same CPU bound issues also exist on console.
wait did you use SIMPHONY OF THE NIGHT og soundtrack at the end !!!!???? cool
They think they will save the game industry, but is just a lost fight
People were against DLC 20 years ago, now we are celebrating our favorites games have a good DLC.
Just buy and play what you like, people opinions doesn't matter 😊
It’s the same, useless MTX which can all be unlocked in game.
bc so many people watching - the hype for this was massive
Its predatory even if common practice I dont understand how people arent more consistently upset with this bs
Bingo!
People depending mtx should see this.
Elemental Star Swag. I'd like to hear your thoughts on Golden Sun, maybe start a retro series if you're up for it.
Thank you for posting this video. People need to know about this kind of bs. The more everyone ignores and accepts it, the worse it will get.
You should still have mentioned them in your review, regardless of their prevelance in the game.

And this is why I watch this channel. Amazing video you articulated perfectly how I feel about it
I gotta say ive played about 10 hours and had no idea about it they dont push it on you and everything in the store is useless early on you can get everything they are offering ... only a dumbass would buy anything available and thats on them ... yes i dont like it but its a nonissue honestly... also im on ps5 and this game runs well no chugging at all lol
Xbox and runs fine. Not perfect, but more than good enough. Game is amazing.
Kind of like those "time savers" Ubisoft put in their games. Useless.
Same experience here, I really don't get the crazy bad reaction. The game is really good. I'm playing on pc with a mid range rig and its running at 60 max settings 90 percent of the time and after 10
Hours not a single crash or bug.
30 fps with 20fps in cities is good? You would be amazed to know what "performance mode" is...
I remember when Capcom was my FromSoftware back before playing dark souls. They’re not the worst by any means but I remember when they were pumping out banger after banger, kinda sad to see em continue going in the wrong direction.

Totally agree with you on the part with the dev interview. If you make it a point that walking is part of the game... but put fast travel as a paid DLC, it's not a good look. I can't believe you.
It's the same fast travel that's in the game now though. It's a pointless dlc that has no bearing on the actual game.
You actually can't unlock fast travel with the paid item. It just adds one to the maximum number of registered location. People just like to complain for the sake of it.

When you dont have basic features like multiple save files, restart button/new game etc, I think at that point it's justified for gamers to not buy your game & give negative reviews no matter how good the game itself is. If Elden Ring or Baldur's Gate 3 did this shit I would say the same thing. Shit like this instantly makes people not wanna support the greedy Studio.
Bingo. I'll never spend my hard earned money on a game that pulls this crap, let alone an RPG!
True. Though, I am wondering. Was it the developer doing that or the publisher (capcom)? I feel like most of the blame goes to capcom.
