First section, all I could think about was the scene from the movie Twister when Aunt Meg's wind chimes starting going crazy. 😉 But seriously, love it. Bozzio is genius.
Amazing how percussionists are expected to play all instruments - though rarely do they accomplish the assignment with such incredible skills as Terry Bozzio, and he NEVER misses a beat. Just imagine a saxophonist being expected to also play bassoon and clarinet...... But Terry Bozzio handles cymbals, drums, and anything in between (can we get more cow bell?) with unbelievable skill and musicality! Only just discovered him here but am awed!
Hi Terry, hope you're playing something like that during this virus outbreak. Those Sabians sound great when you play em! I have wondered what cymbals dampened would sound like as kicks, they're not bad. In fact, it's surprising how varied you have made the sound pallet. I was inspired by your playing at the Halifax metro center in about 1981 with Zappa. You did this amazing melodic solo that blew my mind.
Damn...I SO wish Korn had worked out (I know, I read the story) or that he could have joined Rush in a Tribute tour or something...More people need to know how amazing Bozzio is...
Yeah, and on the snare in the middle it appears to be a magnet. I only say that because it looks like one that is meant to be used as a pair to create a rattle sound. Look it up, I think that's what it is!
He used a standard kick and multiple Remo Rototoms with Paiste cymbals but here is a list of stuff he’s tried and developed..... terrybozzio.com/about-terry/inventions-prototypes/
way too many quick decays, and 0 decay white noises. several cup chimes/splashes and small crashes would fill the sound space better, still remarkable thogh
Airport: Sorry Terry, we lost all of your toms, snares, and kicks. But we have you cymbals.
Terry: No worries. The show must go on.
When you get to the weird section of the e-kit 😂
Lol too accurate😂
This is the funniest shit I’ve read all day
Amazing drummer, Terry Bozio 👍❤👍
that's art on drums - Terry you are unique!
I love Terry I love him for years he's good crazy
Oh man, that's a really cool solo and that kit looks like a blast to play! Bozzio is awesome.
Amazing. I have no words, Mind blowing
Thank You for another genius melodic rhythmic performance!

Always been an inspired musician, he extended the boundaries of drums.
Wow! Never seen anything like this before. Amazing!!!
Very creating and I'm sure it was fun to play. Hats off to Sabian and Terry for assembling the unique instrument!!!
As a lover of cymbals, this is fascinating and fabulous!!
I'm not surprised at all that Terry has an all cymbol set. He's a true percussionist always searching for tones.
Always experimenting, always pushing it..thanks Terry for your contribution.
Just Magic! 🤩❤
That’s badass! Interesting concept.
This dude is from other planet, awesome
Terry's play style is so unique!
Fantastic!
How is it you have less-then 10k subs?
Thank you for all of the great playing Terry! Love it
¡Extraordinario!
Amazing playing.
Awesome!

Incredibile!!!!

I think Benny Greb once said: "Mean what you play". That is true for Terry Bozzio. He means every note he plays.
Bravo! :D
This is what i’m asking for.... play all those gddmmd cymbals
Paradidlle Man !!!!!!!
Sometimes I feel like he's just trolling us.
it's like Spinal Tap but he took it to 11.
No no....your right...this has to be a troll , fucking hilarious
favorite Bozzio solo ive seen
New Christmas Music; "The Little Cymbal Boy" :P
#WOW
Very cool
Pure genius
#TerryBozzio very talented .
bravo
I would like to have this in audio CD formate. Are there any recordings out on the market?
This sounds so amazing! 💖
Goddamn, that looks like fun!
Finally some fresh air on drum set sounds and method of play that will really fit into music. Good by boring paradiddle left hand foot .
I want to play that kit!
That was fucking incredible Terry
Welcome to the next level! A quote- introduction to advancement, so get to work all you . Maybe we'll meet on the other side of the sun 😁
Damn...I SO wish Korn had worked out (I know, I read the story) or that he could have joined Rush in a Tribute tour or something...More people need to know how amazing Bozzio is...
I want him to have a set consisting of cowbells only!
In memory of Neil Peart haha
We need more cowbell!
Only cowbell!
Only Bozzio can think of something like this. What year is this from? Terry always takes the instrument to another level.
Holy Shit.
damn imagine the noise watching it up close.
Belajar gamelan ala jezz😅😅😅
The snare still sounds better than st. Anger
Terry never fails to amaze. My question what were you using for a snare?
Looks like the ring from a spun cymbal on top of a hammered cymbal, with a drum key in the center. xD
Yeah, and on the snare in the middle it appears to be a magnet. I only say that because it looks like one that is meant to be used as a pair to create a rattle sound. Look it up, I think that's what it is!
bravi
What kind of drum kit did he play back in the 80’s .
He used a standard kick and multiple Remo Rototoms with Paiste cymbals but here is a list of stuff he’s tried and developed.....

Drum sets are costumizable but this is just... Indescribable.
As much as I admire Bozzio's playing the bass drum
cymbal's tone didn't take long to get on my nerves.
ZAPPA would be proud 😁🤟
Anything is worth a try...Once!! - Hopefully..never again... :)
Terry lives out in the weeds
the bozz
Really begs the question is it still a drum set if it features no drums
Drum or drumming?! Both different
and still no ride cymbal!! no limits!
Cymbal junkies, unite
Aw hell naw!! 😆😆❤❤
Sounds like it's raining outside
Do you play the drums? - No, just the cymbals ... 😂
9:21でキブアップ。すごいけど、眠くなる。ボジオすげーけどね。
SoundTrip....
Innovation
Truely Heavy Metal music! (I apologise, but somebody had to make that joke right?!🤷🏻♂️😉)
Tinnitus anyone
Can't call it a drum set, though now can you??
damn they could have done a better job of micin that bass drum (er..cymbal) can't hear his melody
Is it me, or is this guy's timing all over the place? It sounds like he never settled into a groove.
Just you lmao
@@michaelarciszewski345 without a doubt him, not even funny
way too many quick decays, and 0 decay white noises. several cup chimes/splashes and small crashes would fill the sound space better, still remarkable thogh
I think the point of the quick decays was to make up for not having drums and only cymbals
He could vomit violently all over his kit with covAIDS 19 and it would still constitute freestyle rhythmic genius in my eyes.
Nope.. sucks..
