@GOTHBOICLIQUE77 I think this might be my number 1. I think it's less technical than everchanger but more ambient than stillworld and that's saying something. I also think at time it can be as technical as everchanger or even more.
@GOTHBOICLIQUE77 ben was the greatest of all time. everchanger and stillworld were so perfect. IA is perfect. just glad because could've been a lot worse than marcus. he is growing on me. I know u didn't ask me this question lol, but I cant help but ask it myself. ben leaving hurt and always will. marcus Is fucking awesome tho, hes a beast for stepping in to fill such a difficult gap left behind.
@GOTHBOICLIQUE77 stillworld is better imo, with ben's beastly low growls...but this whole album still sounds perfectly how invent animate have always been
I've been so depressed and empty lately. This music has kept me holding on by a thread. I suffer with alcoholism and I just want to end it all some days. Your guy's music has helped me through many years of struggle..... to anyone reading this who can relate, I'm sorry you can feel the pain deep, too. I just want to stop feeling.
The fact that you are empathetic towards people who are feeling a similar pain is a beautiful part of you man. I suffered from alcoholism for 10 years, still have to fight it everyday. There is always hope brother.

This chorus at 1:20 is such an amazing thing about this song and album itself. It gives me so much chills and I imagine myself flying away from all of this shit happening in 2020. Thank you, INVENT, ANIMATE for being what you are.

@@levilively8643 yeah I had to drive 2 hours to catch the only ohio show. Got lucky. And you won't be disappointed they have some much energy live. Idk about when you see them because it's in the middle of the tour so they'll most likely be really tired
from the video i saw, his clean vocals were really bad! i only watched one session though so maybe he was off, but it really was pretty rough

I'm looking through the comments checking of anybody wrote anything about the clean vocals resembling the ones from Erra. Any thoughts on this? Did I miss something?

This feels like a anti government song which I am 100% not against. And Amen.
This is a track that absolutely should have been cut from this record. This album is almost PERFECT if it weren't for the second half of the record blending together so much and losing the pacing of the first half (up to monarch). If they had trimmed this song and perhaps one other - I think the album would be a 10/10. Don't get me wrong there is not a single bad song on this record but it does drag ever so slightly from monarch to nova. And songs like eden, brightwing and secret sun do VERY little to add anything to this record that wasn't already there and done more effectively. Just my opinion - I've created my own playlist and clipped the record and rearranged it slightly to make what I feel is the perfect version of it. Overall the album is a 9/10 for me and currently AOTY.

SuicidalChocolateSK I don't know man. IA has always been one of my favorite bands but I've often found at least one or two tracks from each album that just feels so weak in comparison to the rest and this is definitely one of those tracks. That said im glad to hear other people enjoy it so much - cause my opinion is only one. So that just reinforces how good this album is. Even the songs I believe to be lackluster are other people's favorites! 🤘
This is a fair point. In my experience, ive let this play throug a few times and the way i feel sort of disagrees. The atmosphere of each song is echoed in the whole album, its long, brutally haunting, easy to get lost in. Im sayin 10/10 for the first time in a long time.

I do see where you're coming from. However, they have a new vocalist and their sound will never be exactly like stillworld. They have a better clean vocalist and are using it to their advantage. Either way, it shows that a ton of work went into this album. 10/10 and was worth the wait.
