What about if you dont get to your hellpod in time then the pods launch and your helldiver isn’t in one and just dives straight through the hole, then they do or dont burn up, dive smack bang into the ground then it just reinforces you with no budget taken away 😂

While we appreciate your eagerness to spread liberty, this doesn't help anyone if you die on entry. Please, stop and use the pods."
I hope that if they patch it, all they change is that you die when falling like this. So you can actually do this, it just has zero benefits beyond being cool.
I don't play the game, but I feel like it should be a small semi-rare Easter egg that you just fall from the ship and die on impact. But would respawn shortly after on the planet. That'd be so funny to me.
terminal velocity is only reached when in the resistive part of the atmosphere of whatever planet, since u need "air" resistence. He is in fact going faster than terminal velocity.

That was the original Helldive back in the day. But high command found survival rates were pretty low. So after rigorous testing the pods became the best option they could come up with. Someone suggested the pelican but to this day no one knows what happened to them.

I saw the glitch allowing you to fall out of the mother ship on the spiffing brits channel when he teamed up with Thor (piratesoftware) and was funny to see. They did not figure out though that you can emote on the fall.
