All of you that are commenting negative on the way he's singing this raag.. if you can do better just not say anything and do a better job than him post a video if yourself in relate to this video so we can do a comparison and call you the names you are calling him..you all are entitled to your opinions but it's a lot easier to just make a negative comment..you all don't know shit about how he has put in a hard work in to learning this and tried to be like his dad and keep the family name going..but you all with one comment in a second putting him down.. don't be a hater just saying with much love :)

People who are expressing their opinions are not professional singers so you can't ask them to post their videos. The singer in the video is, on top of it, he is the son of Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan & has received training from him, therefore, he is held to a higher standard. Also, it doesn't help his cause that he is attempting a composition made famous by the sterling duo of Ustad Nazakat & Salamat Ali in their prime. Needless to say that it was very underwhelming presentation.

There are striking similarities between this guy and A.R.Rahman popular film music director in india.. their style, even the face and voice too. Yeah it's a soft raga , but I love the way he sings.. to me it's extraordinary.. simply superb..

He doesn’t have the temperament and the voice to sing this raga softly. This is who he is. It reflects poorly on your intelligence when you’re criticizing him given the sort of setting this is.
He could’ve done better yes but his real quality is his voice and his riaz from childhood not khyaal gayeki or ghazal.
Coke studio composers and directors did well utilizing his extraordinary and rare talent. I love Rafaqat. He’s naturally impatient like Ghulam Ali but their singing is completely different as is their voice.

Im listening classic music from last 7 year's. I have a daily routine to like 2 hour or more then that. I heard all the classical Ustads.
I saw many peoples native comments. That is not good .
I wanna say something to everyone's
