    This is just crazy...started in the Majors about a month ago and already has 39 RBI's and 18 HR's. Doesn't even make sense.

    Not a fluke. Has such a smooth motion when he swings. And it's the same every time. He can hit the breaking ball just as well as he can hit a 100mph fastball.

      You should've saw him up here in the Lehigh Valley. He crushes them so hard that they are in the parking lot behind the stadium. Wait till Dylan Couzins comes up to the Phillies. Dylan and Hoskins are called The BASH Brothers

      Couzins has insane power but he lacks discipline in the box. Strikes out way too much. If he can fix that, then him and Hoskins will be a power house.

    This guy absolutely destroys pitchers' mistakes. Don't hang an off-speed pitch to this guy. But he also destroys low pitches--very unusual for a right-handed hitter.

    today was Bryce Harper's debut and Hoskins smashed the longest Homer of the day right after Harper's first walk...he is going to have Monster #'s protecting/ or being protected by Harper....

    Well here we are, at the end of June 2018 and he has hit 14 so far. Quickest Phillie ever to reach 30HRs. Even better than Ryan Howard and Chuck Klein. The guy is a natural.

      It's hard to say. Look at story. Dude was on pace to probably hit 40+ bombs rookie year but pitchers adjusted, now he's no where near. Joc pederson too, had 25 bombs first half, less then half after.

      The mid-season break really changes the pace for a lot of players, but that being said he looked like a 50+ type of player.

    Calling it now in 3-5 years hes going to be considered the greatest hitter of this generation. Its unreal. Daniel murphy, mike trout, stanton all of them going to get tossed aside. His mechanics and the experience he is gaining now going to push him past those big names.

      neetrab tbh thats a good point. But in previous generations you had griffey, hank aaron, pete rose, ty cobb, babe ruth those are some of the best hitters that ever played the game he's on pace for passing all of them up.

      Too bad in baseball you can be good 1 year, then the next you can be absolute garbage. It's one of those sports where just having a few months off can totally change your mental approach at the plate. He might have a few good years, but his skill will drop off tremendously and he'll just be "another guy" out there. Especially once pitchers study him more. He'll be exposed.

      Jim Brown yeah u got a point hitting a baseball to this day is the hardest thing to do in sports so what he doing is amazing but if he keep the consistency and approach he will pass a lot of those guys I named. He really have no reason to change his approach or mechanics he is spot on with both.

      He needs more like 18 to be on their levels, or even be considered. Pulling for power is can make your swing long. He needs to take more to right and then maybe we start talking about trout and Stanton level
