Zach is a cool dude!! He knows his stuff and his company should be proud to have him work for them. People who love to teach and spread wisdom through their work is priceless!! This is why I love watching you guys!! I'm an IT guy and you guys helped me remodel my bathroom last year! Thank you so much for the videos and the wisdom!! ❤❤❤
as a european, he's the most american, I can imagine😂"Yes, sir"
Down South we call that being neighborly.
He went the extra mile and helped with the digging. Extra points go to Zach.
@@pitsnipe5559 Facts! That's how us southerners do it!
Zach's an excellent salesman is what he is. Termite treatments an annual thing he's building a lifelong relationship with a customer there.
The termite guy Zack is very polite, professional and honest! I really like his saying you find out who your true friends are! Someone get that guy a beer!
What a great guy Zach is. He seems like a very nice and friendly guy who isn't afraid to help out and go above and beyond .
Zach’s boss should be very proud of him, he is a great spokesperson for the company.
spokesman.
@@mrthiefy found the spokesasshole 👆😂
I would hire that company.
Self employed??
I really hope Zack the termite guy starts a channel. The way he talks is awesome! Very friendly guy.
If he gets a channel, I’m puncturing my eardrums, yessssssir.
@@kitchenerleslie8936 Why wait?
Yes sir
Zach might be the best employee of any contractor company I've come across. Articulate, professional, and a cool demeanor!
2:42 nice trick to get the buckets to separate, Thanks for that!
That termite guy was the best helping out like that and he knew his stuff too. That guy was made for customer service. Something to don't find much anymore. Glad the rain stopped. Let's get this project moving!!!!!
Paul/Dad - Thanks so much for the Bucket Hack!!!
Jordan - Truly hope you gave Zach an extra big tip for helping to shovel! 🤩 So happy to see those who give extra service nowadays. I look forward to seeing Zach’s reaction to this awesome Build when he comes back for the post-treatment. 😎
Dude just rolled in and straight up said 'gimme a shovel I'll help.' thats outstanding. Big ups to Zach!
Time to bring Zack back to treat the soil again after moving all that dirt.
Just as humans we need more people like him God bless him
Zack was such a cool dude
Zach went above and beyond. Praying for the rain to stay away. .Jordan needs to drop the camera and get to work 😂😂😂😂
I hope Zach's boss gets to read all the awesome comments! Dude is a legend!!
take a shot everytime zach says ""yessurr" lol
Zach is a alright, his company should be proud of the way he represents himself and his company. How many young men you hear answer with "yes sir" these days? Not many.
Zach is a very respectful young man.
Termite guy was a great interview
The termite guy was a class act.
Zach is a model employee, wow. Whoever has him working for them should be proud. Yes sir, No sir, hard worker!
Also, i love you're sense of production value, even though just a scrappy crew channel - *sneezes* "oh, wanna do that again?". Endearing to leave that part in haha.
Endless respect to Zach. Seems like an outstanding gentleman. God bless y'all
Love this guy's attitude. Same as my pest company. Their attitudes are amazing!
Zach's the Man! He deserves a $50 tip and a raise!
Worked on a house last year where the builder did NOT do a termite pretreatment on the soil. It was an absolute nightmare. Drywall, studs, flooring...termites chomped on everything. The house was built on a lake with a high water table and high sand content so according to the bug guys, the termites were already dominate and didn't have far to go for the buffet. How this slips by is crazy. Glad you guys did it right.
Would love a video that explains how the financials of all this work. How you buy a house, move, and stop working for paying clients.
Wow! Zach is a super nice, helpful person. I wish every person working on your house will be that nice, professional and thorough.
Zach providing shovel power! You need to invite him to the next BBQ.
Zach is the MAN!!! What a great guy! ❤ You guys have selected some great folks (subcontractors) so far… well done!
That's funny, your car doesn't take corners. Then the look on his face, love the ad hoc!
Jordan is over those grade beams and the mud/muck. Just look at those facial expressions 😂🤣😂🤣
Zach is an awesome guy. when most guys will come back later he offer up his hand to help out. What an awesome guy!
Maybe I'm missing something here. The dirt was treated and now you're going to disturb it and knock off high spots. It seems to me you'll be removing the termite protection from that area. I would think it would be better for the termite treatment to be applied after all soil work is done.
It would be in theory. In practice, very little of the treated area is lost.
Probably just a scheduling thing, same reason he didn’t just come back after they leveled everything out. Just helped them move the dirt and sprayed it so they didnt have to wait for him to comeback
@@stephensaines7100 Even a small area opens a pathway for termites to get through. Like Zack mentioned cracks in concrete. Once there is a crack there is no protection in that area.
They removed the extra dirt and leveled it and he sprayed what is to be the concrete foundation pad.
In a perfect world with perfect timing, weather and scheduling it would make sense. In reality there’s just too many uncontrollable circumstances that allow an ideal situation. If you’ve ever undertaken a whole-home renovation or new build you know how this all works.
What a great dude! Zach is a real one!
Man if every contractor and person was like ole Zach. Good dude.
Mad props to Zack. Service above and beyond with a smile.
Ok I'm Italian and I've been waiting patiently for the concrete! LOL... OMG! This project has kicked your guys butts! Your stamina and focus on the finish line is amazing! Now let's get that cement poured!😉😃
Great job! Love that Zack help you out. That great Texas hospitality
The fact that Zach knew his pump took power from the alternator and not the battery tell me he’s pretty darn educated.
Zach was awesome!! Love the accent and his Texas spirit!!
Like button for Zach the exterminator. He was killing with kindness helping y'all shovel dirt.
Oh man, you guys need to get that filled ASAP! Hope it doesn't rain again.
what a nice guy. 999 out of a 1000 woild have been annoyed and left you and come back later.. RESPECT
What a great guy Zach is, Now can’t wait to see the steel & concrete pored. All of you guys really hung right in there. Great job.
Progress is a great moral booster, and your doing great. Thanks for sharing.
Just a shout out when you get your framing done and before you cover the framing with your finishes, spray the framing wood with a product called "Timbor" Mix in a pump sprayer and spray away. All do it yourself. It's basically Borax which keeps the termites away. Highly recommended where I live in So Cal with dry wood termites issues. Keep up the good work.
Or have Zach back to do it.
Borax is good to repel and or kill roaches as well.
Timbor is great against powder-post beetles but termites, not so much
@@rxcalvosa
Timbor is an insecticide, fungicide and wood preservative for the protection and treatment of lumber against fungal decay and wood destroying insects (including termites, beetles, and carpenter ants). Timbor gets its preservative power from the active ingredient DOT (disodium octaborate tetrahydrate).
@@Billybobjohngeorgejr Anyone can read a label. I'm speaking from 40 years of experience as a general contractor who has worked with a butt-load of pest control professionals. But hey, whatever works for you.
Paul's Father wisdom.... A life Goal for me! You should be proud Paul! Job well done!.. Not just here but throughout your videos! Many men watching envy your relationship with your son!! I can be adopted... I mean we maybe the same age and all, but... I can be yours...LOL!!! Respect!
Berrett Pest Control, your employee Zack goes top and beyond!!!
“Your car don’t take corners well”. 😂😂 I’m dead.
Zach you are awesome! but man did you about kill me when you said it was an electric motor but you must keep the truck running. hahaha I needed that laugh today.
I love how those southerners end every sentence with sir!
Man I hope u gave that guy a big tip. Lol. Not every day a contractor will throw in his help outside his job duties
Hat tip to Zach! “The termites aren’t doin so well” 😎
Zach is on point, and can't wait to see the slab pour!
I really enjoy these "learning on the job" videos, but I also can't wait until you guys get started on the work that is more in your comfort zone. Very excited for the future videos!
Zach! 🥲 Not all hero’s wear capes 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Let’s go! StudPack with the frequent uploads. Love to see it! 💪
We need Zach to have his own business!!
If more people in the world were like Zach, it would be a much better place.
Great videos. Your explanations are the best. I don't even have a EV, I just like your step-by-step work.
Gloves Jordan.. aaaaahhhhh my hands are hurting watching you shovel .. ikes. :))
I don't like shoveling with gloves! Weird I know, my bare hands give me the best feedback on how to hold it and when my skin is begin worn down
You are the first contractor I’ve known not to own a 16’ flatbed trailer.
Right. Now run out and buy yourselves a 40 x 60 tarp and be ready in case it rains again before concrete day!
I spent my early life summer vacations working for my grandfather's excavation business digging footers in Houston, Texas. I know all about the clay and low water table. Started out working with a shovel and then was promoted to running a sheepsfoot roller and eventually a D6 dozer.
I don't know how you do it guys. I'm in the middle of a small DIY landscaping project right now that is WAAYYY more work then I thought it would be. I hear you guys talking about being demoralized by the soup. But you keep on pushing through. And you get to the other side. You are an inspiration. Thanks for all the great videos, guys!
Zach is the guy that Hank Hill becomes best friends with and Dale get's all jealous and starts stalking him to see what secret gov program he actually works for. Yes Siiiiiirrrrrrr!
I know that this is a learning experience for stud pack and myself. What I learned is to sub out the foundation.
Glad you guys finally have some good weather! Since your doing a pretreatment under that slab you should look into doing a borate treatmeant with Boracare after the framing is done for additional protection.
The stuff is 'dirt cheap', no harm in doing it.
Good to see you guys encouraged and back on track. What a difference a week makes.
I love the channel , y'all have helped me through some tough times the last year
Way to turn it around guys. I could feel the emotions coming through the last few videos. It still looks great, can't wait to watch a concrete video!
What a stud Zach was. Great job and progress fellas.
Man we felt yall pain in the last few.. we do alot! Of work ourselves so we know the feeling, but keep pushing and you'll love the end result
Sooo good to have your latest video arrive so soon after the previous one. Seems like things are “back on track”. It’s gotta feel great for you guys… us’uns out here in viewer-land are lovin’ it.
Love the conversation with the termite guy. Def learned a lot. Amazing that he volunteered to help yall dag and level before the application. Good people.
Is looking better and better guys . 👍🏼👍🏼
Love that trick with the buckets BTW. Keep up the great job guys.
Caint wait to see that concrete pored! You guys are so patient and persistent ...looks like you're almost there. 👍❤️👍
Nicely done guys and props to Zack for pitching in and getting it done.
I'm looking forward to watching the foundation being poured. Thanks for the videos.
I'm glad that things have turned around and you're not having to re-do stuff. Great job!
Great job, guys! Can't wait to see that slab! Dads video finishers are always on point! Lol
Lots of hard work has really paid off Fellas, Best of luck forward.🤙
So excited for you guys with the latest progress... can't wait to see it beat the rain!
You guys are nailing the work.
God bless you guys. I’d just want to get in the fetal position and cry. Nice come back. Can’t wait to see more
Really loved this episode. You all persevered. Termite guy was awesome. Great work ethic. Good personality.
Great videos lads , that zach , what superstar ,getting his hands dirty and showing his elders the respect they deserve ,
So glad to see such progress!😊
That’s a good dude to help you.
Finally some progress! Super excited to see the slab phase moving forward! Construction can have its ups and downs but glad that Mother Nature is hopefully going to give you guys some time to get the concrete in! The future looks bright boys! Let’s get it
In 1973, when my parents had their home built, my father did the same thing with a highly effective termite poison (no longer available of course) and then drenched the slab after it was poured and cured. They have never found a single termite around the house or any sort of termite damage. 1973, 50 years ago, no termites.
Zach a stand up guy!!! 💯
Great job guys, I look forward to watching your videos every week. Hang in there your build will start moving much fast after the concrete.
Thought of a couple of more things: As for the second termite treatment, no need to do any drilling of your new slab like for a porch or around pipes, just dig the ditch where that extension of the slab will go. Drilling is only for existing slabs. Also, you may want to consider getting some help to frame the structure up to the point of getting the roof on and maybe sheathing. It seems crazy to me to see wood on a job site getting wet for days before its assembled and then in place until the roof is on. Especially OSB flooring. You guys can make plenty of finish carpentry videos of the inside. Hang in there, love you guy's attitude and can-do spirit.
0:01 THANK GOD! I've been waiting for the next video!
Now, I can go to sleep tonight feeling content.
I learned a great lesson last week and again today. I watched you guys dig and dig and dig and dig......
...I'm sippin' coffee and I'm not the least bit tired. 😁
I've watched a few concrete CZcamsrs do what they do.
You're doing the right thing hiring the pros for this. There are no do overs in pouring concrete.
Jordan you are a lucky man.Good job.
The bucket separating trick was worth the whole video. I've fought with buckets for hours on end. That has to be the strongest force known to man. You've solved one of life's greatest problems for me 😂😂
Your dad is a blessing
GR8 work!
