Welcome to the Andaman Vlog!Andaman is one of the beautiful island of our country and it was on our wishlist for a while!We went for 6 days and 5 nights, went to 6 beaches,3 Islands and stayed in 4 different resorts. In this travel vlog, i will not only take you through a virtual experience but also be sharing lots of tips and guidance which will help you in future when you plan for your trip to Andaman
Day 1 - *Direct Flight from Chennai to Port Blair Andaman, flight time is 2 hours. There are very less direct flights, so check and book accordingly.*Reached Port Blair by 1pm and checked into Hotel Sea Shell, book near to Airport and tourist spots as its easier while check out.*We visited Cellular Jail, Corbyn's cove beach and came back to Cellular Jail to see the light and Music show. Pre book your entry tickets via your travel agent.
Day 2
* After Breakfast we checked out from Hotel Sea Shell and went to the port to get a Ferry tour to Havelock Island, time duration is approximately 2 hours. Be before time to go through security and check in process. Carry medicines if you get sea sick.* Reached Havelock around 1.30pm and checked into Tilar Siro Resorts, has private access to Vijay nagar beach*After lunch and resting a bit we headed out to the most famous Radhanagar beach, swimming is allowed till 5pm, carry change of clothes. This is also a Sunset point.*Headed back to the resort and rest.
Day 3
Woke up by 4.45 am to witness the Sunrise at the Vijaynagar beach After breakfast, got ready to explore water sports at Elephant beach. Many activities are available, you can take it as a package. Did parasailing and had a lovely experience. Headed back to the resort for Dinner and rest.
Day 4
* Checked out from Tilar Siro resort, and headed to the Havelock port to catch another ferry to Neil Island, ferry ride is approximately 1 hour.* Reached Neil island by 12.30pm and checked into Symphony Summer sands resort. This resort was much smaller but the direct access to the pool from your room was a major highlight for kids.* After lunch we headed out to Bharatpur Beach for a swim.* After the swim we changed and headed to Lakshamnpur beach to watch the sunset.* Headed back to resort and rest.
Day 5
* Checked out and headed to the port for another Ferry ride back to Port Blair, ferry time approx 1.5 hrs.* Reached Port Blair by 1pm and headed 25kms away to a resort named Symphony Samudra.*This day was only for resting and chilling at the resort as all other days was very hectic.
Day 6
Checked out and headed to the Airport. Did some last minute shopping on the way. Shops are available at the airport too near the gates.* As expected our flight was preponed. Schedule keeps changing so have some buffer time both ways especially when you are traveling as a family.
Covid Protocols as of April 2023 (please check update protocol at the time of your travel)
*Requirement of double vaccination certificate.If not available, Rtpcr test required 48 hours before travel for 12 years and above.
