Dont know how i got here. But this is hilarious 😂
Weird right!!
You don’t know ahhh 😅😂😂 yea sissy
Taylor killed that event! Nice work man!!
I have no idea who the commentator is talking about, but none of these guys have "an extensive swimming background". I think for most of them, this was their first time swimming without armbands.
These people are cardio legends
Great sportsmanship there at then end.
An exciting competitive event for the participants, first ones to end the swim-run, get to claim their place in a row.
Very boring to watch though.
That was nice for the guy to cheer on the last guy
Crazy
Watching lifters doing cardio events like this is interesting. Good on them for trying.
I am 75kg rower lightweight and I was thinking... man I can beat them all hahahaha
Thought the same I'm doing Triathlon and have a rower in my home gym 😅
But would totally suck at the weight focused things 😅
damn...they are too big for these tests. BUT, tests re a joke! like many highschool boys will do this test faster....
@@lost_in_asia CrossFit is about being well rounded not being great at one thing. All these guys back squatting 400+ and snatching over 250+. And doing 8 test in 2 days
@@AlexJuric cool bro but I bet you can’t lift. Try focusing on several things at once and getting good at them all, not great. It’s a very challenging sport. It’s pretty easy to get excellent at one thing if you focus on it. It’s why decathletes are the best athletes in the world, they are well rounded. As high level cross fitters are without a doubt the fittest people in the world. If you don’t agree, you’ve obviously never did the workouts.
Wow 😳
Yes sir
For me, all of them are winners.
There is quite the variation in erm… rowing technique
I Love watching cross fitness someday I like do to those Row swim run I love that to put l unail happy really for 5k next week keep running for every day Regina 23 year old
all of them are spartan... damn hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
One would think that if the crossfit organisers were keen to grow the games, they would create events that are appealing to watch on TV.
Agreed - more "explosive" work.
It would be much more appealing to watch if the athletes involved looked like they where being competitive in the event rather than just trying to survive. It never fails to surprise me how Ill prepared some of them are even though all the big events seem to have some sort of swim in it
@@markwhitham1169 yea some of them look like they've never trained on a rower before.
@@Noold I was talking about the swim
i have never seen the technique used by the guy on machine 21 at 11 mins, - stroke - take 2 seconds to compute - stroke again. Fair play to em for having a go at something they clearly dont do in usual training.
Barefoot running on the treadmill. Now that’s different
How does that treadmill work when it comes to pace? I didn't see anyone modify it while they ran so does it change its pace automatically?
They are self propelled. No motor. The faster you run the faster you move the tread. Think hamster wheel.
They’re called assault runners
I clicked because of the thumbnail. I thought it was Gerard.
People who leave their shoes in the middle and not put them in the designated bins are the same who leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot -_- common decency isnt very common
They probably don't put their weights away either!
😂
This is one of the worst comment sections on CZcams.
😄😄 True 😃
yesss wth
Bill grundler talking air since birth
What output do they aim for on rower
some pathetic pace it seems. Like 2 min per 500m or 1.55. Though their swimming is so bad that it doesn't matter much)
@@IKolpikov it’s 2500m not 2000m, so about 1:40
@@calebnorrisguitar4651 In women's part they have same challenge and it was 2000m i'm pretty sure. 1.40 is not real for them without dying after. Look at the lack of tech. Look at them in the transition zone. Ez beathing. That's not a 400w performance.
@@IKolpikov the description says 2500m row, and the commentators say it’s a 2500m row as well.
I could easily manage 1:55 splits for 2000m (7:40), as I’ve gone 7:23 as a pb. That’s whilst acknowledging I’m a pretty poor rower!
1:40 seems about right for these tough chaps!
@@IKolpikov at 6:24 the commentator says “Hopper pulling a 1:38 right now”
Just a question. Do they know what events they're doing before race day? Obviously fit guys but it always comes across as if they haven't done any training at all.
They’ve done 4 events before this.
wait a minute! Did I hear they were all sub 7mins for 2000m?? No way
yess ! 7:30, pace: 3:45 min/km, it's amazing
Interesting name because in Czech voda means water.
is shirtless a requirement for these events?
where is this located
Miami
In a place where they don’t believe in science
Literally shown on the video 5 sec in.
@@pookiehoney Pfizer CEO just said the first two jabs doesn’t prevent Covid infection, neither does the booster, but the booster may prevent hospitalizations. So much for the 95% efficacy. Covid spreads amongst the vaccinated and unvaccinated alike. Life has to go on. Great to see these events!
Bayfront Miami. It flashed on screen @ 00:01 though.
if there was a lake, they should have just used actual boats for the rowing part haha
The tricky part is how to conserve stamina. God this is exhausting.
Run barefoot for 2.4km - yeah great idea 🤦🏻♂️
How about put shoes back on and run on the road on a proper coarse, make it much more enjoyable to watch
The assault runner aka the self propelled treadmill they are on is so much harder than running on normal ground. Literally 5x harder.
чел мазика бахнул для скорости в начале
I have never seen a worse match of body type to activities...the equivalent of elephants competing in ice dancing...pure comedy!
elite or veterans?
The (wo)men are bigger!!
all natural LOL
100% freshly squeezed juice
all 10 toenails fell off on a 26 mile run/walk? ehhh
please include boxing also
How many athletes were drug tested?!
All of them are
I’ve always wondered if they’re cycling on and off, though
All of them are tested. But there’s ways around them for sure. Can’t take away the fact these guys train 4-6 hours a day
@@DylanAce6 there’s ways around it for sure. Cycling on and off. But cycling doesn’t come without detriment. Call me overly optimistic but I believe there’s some that are honest.
Not built for it
silly humans we....
What the heck are the keys to the event? Swimmers unite and recognize the run??? Wut lol. What is this?
Strange event, crossfit lifters trying to match up in a cardio event, any pro triathlete would win this event easily.
Красавцы, но плавать не умеют
Games organizers should stop making those crossfit guys do stuff they are not good at. As a triathlete (and runner first) I can't do but laugh at such a freak show. It doesn't do justice to those athletes competing. I would have destroyed them all on this row-swim-run, and that is not even because I am that good. They are just outside their field of competence. Make them do things more suited to their background or training. I want to be impressed, not laugh.
It’s literally called fucking CrossFit bro. CROSSTRAINING. It’s about challenging people in ways they wouldn’t expect. Constant varied functional fitness. If they only gave them things they’re good at it would defeat the purpose of the challenge.
@@DylanAce6 would have been cool if they actually, I dunno, ran on the road instead of a treadmill.
@@Noold yes true but running on those assault runners is so much harder than regular running. If you don’t think that you’ve probably never done it
This is the whitest athletic event I've seen since the Tour de France.
I see a sea of white and as a white I’m sad I wasn’t invited.
That's why they created it lol
They have terrible swimming technique
They have 1000 other things they have to be good at bro. Being great in one thing is a burden cause it takes away from the other stuff.
Jesus Christ CrossFit is moronic
They are slow n no flexibility.... no competitiveness.....
Wow look at all of the people on top of each other and no mask in sight. It would be a damn shame for these athletes to get covid and end up dead or with long covid effectively ruining their health the rest of their lives.
@@jacobconner1816 Fully agree. Pfizer CEC just came out and said his first 2 vaccine shots offer little prevention against Omicron infection, but the 3rd shot provides some protection against hospitalization, but not infection. So the whole vaccine narrative has just been blown up, and I’ve been jabbed 3 times. Is it possible that we’ve been lied to about the effectiveness of vaccines? Life must go on, so I’m glad to see these events!
shut up, there is a reason why they aren't dying because they are healthy and covid is not as bad as the media portray it.
Nobody gives a shit about COVID anymore.
When BLM riots happene covid dissappeard for a couple weeks. Makes you think.
I love the LACK of diversity in crossfit. hoe many more white guys do you need
Its open to all. If mostly whites want to participate then we cant do anything about that.
@@mountainous_port Why do you assume he’s talking about black people’s involvement? He mentioned diversity in general, every other race not considered white.
@@twilliams7786 there edited.
That's why they created it 🤣
