  • This time, we will explain the know-how you need when traveling by bicycle using trains in Japan.
In Japan, except on specially designated, such as “Cycle Train'' routes, if you bring your bicycle onto a railway vehicle, you have to put it in a special bag(it should fully cover the bicycle).
It is a violation for any part of the bicycle body to protrude from the storage bag.
However, when moving around inside the station, you will not be noticed, even if part of the bicycle body (supporting wheels, saddle, etc.) protrude from the storage bag.
For folding bicycles that have auxiliary wheels for transportation, it is safer to carry two bags: a main storage bag that completely cover the bicycle body, and a simple cover that partially covers the bicycle.

What is the name of the main bag you’re using to completely cover and hold the Brompton?

This is no brand, but I will make the improved full cover bag focus to the folding bike, which can be used as a check in baggage in your flight.
Once the prototype will up, I will show you a picture.😊
