Mustang Training Tip

An untouched mustang takes time to saddle train. I like to use a small saddle, stripped down to just a cinch. When you keep your training saddle lightweight, it’s much easier to lift on and off your horse many times. A fully rigged western saddle weighs around 50 lbs. my little training saddle is around 18 lbs.
