- Have you ever wondered what goes into making a complex film like Divergent? Well, wonder no more-- we’ve done all the research for you! We will be learning about the intense, Dauntless bootcamp the entire cast had to complete, the iconic seven-story jump - just how many takes did she do? We'll also be learning about the stunning visual effects that were meticulously crafted to maintain believabiltiy.
Part of what made Divergent such a fun film to shoot, was the natural chemistry between the cast. They had such much of it, in fact, that Theo James pulls a prank on Shailene Woodley during the big ferris wheel scene. How did they find Theo to play Four, anyway?
Did you know the author, Veronica Roth, was very involved in making the film? So involved, she might’ve actually been in front of the camera a few times. If you missed her, don't worry, we’ll fill you in.
The Divergent world is full of incredible fight scenes, special effects, and elaborate set pieces you wouldn’t believe are actually set pieces- yes we’re talking about the pit! Allegiant is the 3rd movie. They didn’t film the 4th because they wanted to turn it into a tv series unfortunately.

I feel this franchise is criminally underrated and as such gets less praise than it deserves.
Though it may not have been top tier but it was still enjoyable nonetheless.
The first one was amazing!! Literally loved it so much. The soundtrack and directing and everything was aaaa😍😍 the next two were a little icky bc of the new director that came along

Brother. It sucked. Let’s be honest with ourselves. You can say you enjoyed it, but the book series and movies literally killed the genre that hunger games popularized.
The reason why it is so disliked is because it lacks character development. The writer of this story created a really cool world with loads of external struggles the characters have to go through, but there are hardly any internal struggles. A strong female lead is only good if she is relatable through her internal struggles and personal misbeliefs that she then overcomes.

I adore divergent, but I’ll be honest… the first movie was so much better than the second or the third, just my opinion. I adore every movie though, they’ll all so well written and the actors do the characters so much Justice!
First was the best one second was good not as good and the third was ok wish there was more stuff with four and tris but it needed a last movie to really end it n complete it.
I love the books, but the movie really satisfied my imagination. Thank you for this masterpiece, it’ll never be the same without Shai and Theo

I totally forgot what happens in the book tbh but i just remembered after finishing the books i said to myself i will never reread them again because it was so gutwrenching at the end. I cried so much LOl

Also this is the behind the scenes forthe final movie so ofc theres going to be spoilers.but even then i didnt comment on the clip but replied to a comment,so if you dont want to be spoiled for the movie or book dont go into the replies of comments of the last movie.i mean i am currently reading a book and after being spoiled for books multiple times now i avoid youtube comments
@Muimfeè the books are great i am on the first book right now but i always recieve accidental spoilers and i spoiled and read the entire ending.do read the books but in the end yes four does end up with kristina(but not in the original trilogy) basically a few years after the book series ended the author wrote another story telling what happened after and in that she said four and kristina end up together.so if you only read the original books at the end like last chapter of last book tris dies and the end.

I just watched the series with my family, introducing my cousins to them for the very first time, and EVERY TIME a movie ended everyone clapped 😂😂😂 had to applaud the masterpiece!!!

the first movie is amazing (insurgent was ok and the last one was just….horrible) but they did it so well and the actors did an amazing job of getting into character. the bts of this is so interesting. I think the movies deserve a bigger fanbase. and the books because all of those were exceptional

I'm not scared of falling from great heights either. It's just that sudden stop at the end that always hurts. The fall itself is great.
Am I the only person whose going to point out how shailene woodley and miles teller starred together in "the spectacular now", she also started with ansel elgort in "the fault in our stars" AND starred with Zoe Kravitz in "big little lies"?!!! I love them all. I honestly loved this series more than the twilight saga and hunger games. The only other movie I was hoping for more of was "Cirque du Freak: the vampires assistant". She wasn't in that, but I loved the books and actually loved the only movie that came out for it.
I like this film. I especially like the sound of the guns. I also really like the chemistry between the two main actors. We are looking forward to seeing the next 2 😊

Considering the fact, they were taught military style, the 'punch' that Tris was practicing is terrible and can easily be caught. Plus the peek a boo style of fighting is equally bad, if not worse. They're covering their head sure, but they're leaving their torso exposed and therefore can be knocked down or winded if a kick landed on them. A few broken ribs would be the cherry on top. The reason the boxing does that is because they can't kick. I like how they planned everything, like the workout beforehand, progress of their fighting etc. I just wished they actually got the fighting part accurate, or at least practical.

I have always had an issue that Shailene did not fit the stature or look of Triss well at all. She was meant to be short and petite, and Shailene is actually on the taller side for a woman at 5'8".
Also cannot believe Theo pants'd her - and she looks at him like... "yeah... thanks for that" lol
#2 They had to go to boot camp? Well, I guess that makes sense because Dauntless is like the military, but putting actors in boot camp? Jesus, that's crazy.
