  • Benro S6 Pro Fluid Tripod Head Review and Unboxing!!! Actually, it's an unboxing and review. The unboxing goes until 7:45 then the review is for the rest of the video. It's harder than it looks to get a nice smooth audio for these. I will practice my speaking and hopefully get better. The information is relevant though and I hope it helps if you are looking for a new tripod head. Thanks for watching and please don't forget to hit those like and subscribe buttons for more videos!!!!!! Forgot to mention the price!!!! I paid 250.00 for this head and so far, seems really worth the money. I will update the video the more I get to use it so stay tuned for that too!!!!

    Better microphone or smaller distance to camera would do the thing in this video. I cranked the volume high up to actually hear something, and after watching I casually played other video but it was too late. Neighbours already called the police.

    Thanks for teaching me. 👍🏼 Realized that counterbalance on 5 isn't beneficial when taking stills of the moon, like I kept doing yesterday. 😂

    There have been a number of videos stating that Benro's dont lock in the vertical (tilting) plane - and move when locked? They never stated what weight lenses they were using - maybe too heavy for the model? What have you found. I really want to like the S6 Pro. Very nearly bought one today but the reviews have been off putting.

      Mine does move slightly but it takes a lot to move it. I am using it for airliners and wildlife so locking is not a concern. I do want to have very firm and smooth motion though and it does that very good. I have no complaints with this unit at all. Good luck with it and I hope you find a good one if you don't go with this head.

    Six levels is good, but can you lock so it doesn't move vertical?

      You could definitely use it for that for sure. It’s got a very smooth pan and tilt. With aviation it’s difficult to pan because of the speeds of the aircraft and I’m sure birds would be similarly difficult but for the money, it’s really a nice head. Good luck!

    Best review i have seen so far. Do you think buying this head and using it on a good tripod or buying the kit with s6pro may be a good choice?

      This product was very nice. I still use it today. I don’t think you can go wiring with any of their products. Thanks the nice comments and checking out the video.

    It is good for cinéma with lumix s5? What difference with s8pro expect the more handle for bigger cameras

    • @adventuresmidwest3065
      @adventuresmidwest3065  Před rokem +2

      Yeah the s8 is a bigger head for more weight. I have a canon 90d and this one is perfect.

    Is the quick release plate an acre-swiss type?

    • @adventuresmidwest3065
      @adventuresmidwest3065  Před 2 lety

      I don’t believe it’s arca Swiss type. You need an adapter for arca Swiss plates. It’s a proprietary plate from benro.

    what is the weight of the camera+lens you put on it?

    • @adventuresmidwest3065
      @adventuresmidwest3065  Před rokem +1

      The camera itself ids 1.55lbs. Add my tamron lens and it’s probably double that and the 18-135mm is slightly less. I also have a cage and mount an andycine monitor plus a mic. I would say it’s easily 3-4 lbs fully together with all accessories. If is a great mount bug it you want truly smooth action especially woyh moving subjects like airplanes, you will need at least the next step up but this one is pretty good!

      @@adventuresmidwest3065 Thank you very much for the detailed reply. Reasoon I was asking is that I can't find information on how much maximal counter balance it is. Then I saw some commented that the max counter balance is like 2kg is much smaller than the max load capacity. I have a telescope rig that goes near 5kg.

    You don't explain the things your doing to the head as your doing them. You're talking to people as if they already own the thing, and have used it for years.
