Lowell is amazing at floral works! I find that all of the instructors for Alexander Art go more into the technique and how to do the motions of the painting rather than the details of the painting, like in a Bob Ross video.
Alexander Art seems to give you more of the "how", rather than mor of the "what"

Mr Speers, i am a big fan and been watching your amazing floral videos.
I however cannot purchase the line of brushes that you use from where i am at, can i use flat brushes instead of sables and bristle brushes?
Bill Alexander may be gone, but his spirit has definitely been inherited by others.
I have really struggled for several years with florals. I've tried following other instructors and I just can't seem to get the hang of it. Hopefully this instructor will help me.
Beautiful! I do wish we could see it in brighter lighting. It’s very difficult to see the bottom half of all your darker paintings.

This is like magic to me. I have trouble with composition and getting my paints to flow just right
I find that too! Canvass prep has been the difference between a painting going well and being a little frustrating haha still not good at getting it ready
