- Join me as I take a stroll in Mui Wo from the town area to the village of Luk Tei Tong.
Mui Wo is a rural town with about 6 000 residents on the eastern coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong
Mui Wo is located on Silvermine Bay, so named for the silver mines that were once worked along the Silver River (銀河) which flows through the village. The main beach in Mui Wo is known as Silver Mine Bay Beach (銀鑛灣泳灘). The town is known for the feral water buffalos and cows that roam the area.

Hi, did you live in Mui Wo long ago?
Hi Lazy Explore. Vey high quality and steady footage. Splendid.
It seems dogs friendly place. A quiet and charming town except the construction site... Fascinating to see the beautiful summit contrasted with skyline as you walk. Thank you for your lovely walk tour.
Hi there. Thanks for the comment again. Yes, very nice village which is also popular with expats. Something different from the hustle and bustle of HK Island and Kowloon.
My brother lives there bang opposite the bus station he moved from the UK about 5 years ago to teach he loves it but it's expensive to buy property
Hi, yes property prices are insane. Mui Wo is home to many expats who prefer to live in a quiter area of HK.
