See you at the bench!
A scale model is most generally a physical representation of an object that maintains accurate relationships between all important aspects of the model, although absolute values of the original properties need not be preserved. This enables it to demonstrate some behavior or property of the original object without examining the original object itself. The most familiar scale models represent the physical appearance of an object in miniature, but there are many other kinds.
Scale models are used in many fields including engineering, architecture, film making, military command, salesmanship, and hobby model building. While each field may use a scale model for a different purpose, all scale models are based on the same principles and must meet the same general requirements to be functional. The detail requirements vary depending on the needs of the modeler.
To be a true scale model, all relevant aspects must be accurately modeled, such as material properties, so the model's interaction with the outside world is reliably related to the original object's interaction with the real world.
Revell is a manufacturer of plastic scale models. The original American Revell merged with Monogram. In 2007, American Revell was purchased by Hobbico while the European Revell Germany separated from the American company in 2006 until Hobbico purchased it as well - bringing the two back together again under the same company umbrella. In 2017, Quantum Capital Partners took over operations of Revell after Hobbico declared bankruptcy.
Aluminum Model Toys, commonly abbreviated as AMT, was a Troy, Michigan-based company that manufactured various pre-assembled plastic promotional models starting in 1948, when attorney West Gallogly, Sr. started it as a side business. Later, a variety of kits became very popular. Most of the company's vehicle products were American cars and trucks in 1:25 scale. In the 1970s, hot rods, customs, trucks and movie and TV vehicles were also produced.
Because Gallogly had solid connections with Ford Motor Company, he was able to place his first models exclusively in Ford dealerships, starting a long promotional relationship (Cawthon 2002). Gallogly's first model was a 1947-1948 Ford Fordor sedan made of cast aluminum and painted with official Ford paint (Cawthon 2002). After issuing successful Ford sedan models, the company set up shop on Eight Mile Road outside Detroit (Chrysler 2008). - Auta a dopravní prostředky
It's a great time to be a modeler!!!!!!! 🙂 👍
that 86 tim richmond nascar was one of the first models kit i ever owned . my dad built it for me as a birthday gift
Thank you for the review and updates
Back in the late 80's I raced those RC 10's and they are differently fun.
Awesome Tamiya racing white is what I used on my little Fiat 👍
Don't want to burst your bubble, The Power Loader is from Good Smile Company. Moderoid is their model kit series
Awesome upcoming kit video. Thanks for the heads up regarding Tower Hobbies! I had on preorder the AMT 1960 F100 X2 & one 1963 F100 kit and as the recent shipment came in and everyone else was getting them in and they still didn’t, I cancelled the order and purchased from another store called Burbank’s House Of Hobbies. Luckily, they honored my request to have it cancelled.
Chris - kinda cruel. I want ALL of these, but I only have room for some of these. How will I pick? OK, that one towards the beginning. Oh, no, a few of those around the middle (I gotta rewind). WAIT - now at the end - I really want them. I gotta FIRST get a bigger house?! But really - no matter my choices, in the end, they will be thanks to you!
Never stop teasing us - ever !!!
My son just found one of those 1992 Fleer sides. In a barn. And somebody put 24 inch Mickey Thompson street legal tires on the back of it. And a full Lund body kit... The visor, the cab lights, the bedside flares. Old school nerf bars. Pink color. Kind of looks like somebody was trying to build a Hot Wheels truck. However, this one came with a straight six...
Build the Sambar fire truck please, I bought that kit and would like to see it being built. As always, great video Chris, keep em coming I'll keep watching.
In Indiana Jones where he says throw me the idol and you throw me to whip the guy he throws the idol to is Doc Octopus from Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire. 🙂
He was also Rahad Jackson in Boogie nights
RC10T for the win, I raced one forever back in the day
That year's charger was not my cup of tea but your build turned out fantastic especially the color and graphics
I’m still waiting for the Atlantis release of the Mickey Thompson’s Marines car. I’ve had it on preorder since last October. I heard that it was going to be released this month.
HEY , JOHN FROME ANTWERPEN-BELGIUM PLECE ISTHAT FOOR WOOD OF STONE FLOOR 😀😀👍👍
Can't wait to see the next build...
Hey bubs couple of new moebius kits are coming about on model roundup ill be expecting those
I cannot imagine why we still don't have a model kit of a Bluesmobile. It is popular in every scale in die-cast. I was forced to get one in 1/1 scale fifteen years ago!
Baby Sinclair was named "Aaah Aagh I'm dying you idiot" by the Chief Elder while having a heart attack. In the same episode he was renamed Baby Sinclair by the new Chief Elder. So his legal name is Baby Sinclair.
Thanks for the views of upcoming kits. I like the figures myself, especially Indiana Jones, looks good.
I used to run a few Kyosho cars back in the day. My buddy ran the RC10. I’d love to see it being built. I still have my original Kyosho, Optima, and Turbo Ultimate, and Optima Mid, from way back then.
Impressive stash on display here. I'm hoping that you'll get to build the RC truck, the Tamiya Celica (I saw a build up of that on a Japanese channel recently) and I would love to see how the finalized all new Corvette kit goes together since the test shot you did was pretty impressive. I also love the TV and movie figurines as they bring back lots of childhood memories for me.
‘53 pickup made as a kid…might have to revisit that one
That’s isn’t Folgers To Go, it’s TG Sheppard’s Folgers Coffee Machine! 😂
Bergpanther with panzer iv turret looks interesting
I have a full size vinyl Gremlin model ordered from Thailand in my model room he is called Louie and wear a Mardi gra $ sign necklace. The aliens I have to look for and get my favorite movie of all time or "Aliens another glorious day in the core"
A lot to look forward to! Thanks Chris! 😎👍
I always keep the boxes just for the box art and put them on the wall
I'd love to see someone come out with Uncle Buck's beat-up old Marquis.....
I got the Power Loader kit in '93 or '94, my memories of it was that it was a very good kit, but very fiddly to build. Those were the days, buying film related model kits, like Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger.
This is actually an all-new, new-tool kit of the Power Loader, and not the Halcyon kit from the 90's.
@@justinplayfair4638 Thank Christ, that kit had some flaws, so I hope it's going to be much easier to build.
Doesn’t Round 2 have the Blues Brothers license? I know they’ve done some diecast Bluesmobiles. I was expecting a model kit by now but I don’t know how that works behind the scenes.
For a Bluesmobile, they wouldn't need a license. Just produce a 1974 Dodge Monaco. Modelers will do the rest.
Some oddball stuff, the only thing I'd be interested in is the Ford Model A.
I recommend buying the Dinoaurs complete dvd sets
What Awesome Collection Toy Movie &Cartoon Action Figures U Have @ hpiguys Workshop.
The Monte Carlo was a picture of a Kyle Petty car. He and his dad ran reversed paint schemes. Richard’s 43 would be red where Kyle’s 42 would be blue and so on. Maybe it could be built as either one.
I beat the coloring book would be great for for practicing with an airbrush
Like to see a 62 c10 step/ or custom c10 box , 65 z-16 chevelle’s-396 . ?
Salvino still waiting on a 78 dodge magnum petty car!
Love the RC10T. But nearly $400 for a retro style kit that's not RTR. Seems a bit high
WoW!
I heard you say ups man I’ve met so many people who don’t know who that is
Nice looking stuff on the way. Thanks for sharing.
Is the peewee Herman doll the 1 with the "Kung Fu" grip?
The Fiat looks like a cousin of Herbie the Love Bug. :D
Revell has been fooling around with that Corvette kit for over 2 years now. 😡 Release the darn thing!
Got this info from Revell: ”The delivery of the model is for autumn, September/October planned
please be patient a little longer,”
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Thanks Chris for the preview!
Thanks so much for sharing Chris!
Thanks for the cool little video Chris appreciate the time you put into the videos you make for us 👍🏻🇸🇱
Not the Momma. Kids used to love that show.
You have a cool kit stash 👍🏻👍🏻
tower hobbies screwed me over on the RC10 as well. I will never order there again.
I hate to be that person but it is ne-c-a but I am from the south so we say it a little different. An horizon hobbies is bad about their sales and pre orders for rc cars and truck bodys. Cool stuff tho.
How big is 1:35 in inches
"infinity" is the answer to a question like that! lol
AMT should never release a kit as just a custom, when they already have all the parts for factory stock from prior releases. I wanted to get a 2nd '60 Chevy pickup to build in another color than the first one I got, but that kit disappeared when this custom kit was announced. I don't buy or build customs, so you lost a sale, AMT.
I'm not saying this to upset you or anyone else, Chris. I'm saying this because I know AMT watches your channel.
Well Geez some people like to moan
@@grahamkeeton6643it's Called " FREEDOM OF SPEECH " Buddy ‼️‼️
@@grahamkeeton6643 and some people should remain quiet when someone else gives feedback to a manufacturer. Everyone's opinion should count, but you added nothing to the subject, and just personally attack.
What possible concern is it to you if a few parts are included in the box, parts that are already tooled and available, so more hobbyists will be happy with a purchase?? YOU are the moaner in this, not me.
@@garyparker2969 thank you, Gary
I still see the stock 60 Chevy pickup with the go kart at Hobby Lobby. 40% this week also!
