I completely agree. You don’t have to be an ARR fanboy to understand. You just need to have an open mind to enjoy different facets of music. Also it helps if you’re a listener of different genres of music not just the modern pop sound. How can you ignore his ability to contribute to the music in general , a lot of those melodies are like adventure. You don’t have to be a musical genius to see it , just a lover of music in general without any bias.

In the other song where Kk is doing a stage live performance for MTV of song "Tadap tadap " he was saying that - while recording that song they faced some technical problem in the studio , so they can't record that full song . Due to that the whole crew members slept in that studio that night . At 4 am when Kk woke up he went to outside for fresh air . At that part of night everyone has slept in the whole city . So the feeling of calmness and steadiness he experienced in the outer air helped him a lot to bring same energy to that song . ✌🏻

One of the best Rahman songs in recent times! Yes, that merging of voices is a very unique thing. Rahman has always been a master of technicalities and bringing distinct sounds into his music. Also like the pairing of Arijit and Alka Yagnik because Alka Yagnik songs really less these days.
This movie had some great songs like Matargashti by Mohit Chauhan and Safarnama by Lucky Ali( another unique voice whom you should react to)
