- Lightning Round is back, but things are a little different! I've removed the two minute time limit, and I'm no longer going to be billing the format as "shorter reviews." Sometimes I have video ideas that are too short or too different to call a "brutalmoose Original", and that's where LR will come in. Think of my Kid Pix, Firefighters 2014, and Hot Wheels: Crash! videos and you'll have a loose grasp on where I'm headed with this - just a lot of random ideas that I want to try out. This particular video is a bit closer to my regular format, but I definitely want to try out some pretty dumb ideas as well.
These aren't replacing my Originals or Televoid at all, by the way! I just want to get more content out to you guys more often, and this is one of the things I'm testing out. Hope you like the video!

I swear I remember this game. Especially the clown and title card. But I remember it looking better. I did play it in elementary school. It's probably just been too long.
Yeah I remember the game fondly as the highlight of my Kindergarten days. This was, however, before I paid attention to graphics or copyright years.

i remember having Reader Rabbit on the school computers when i was in second grade, the teachers kept booting me off because they were only in french and i didnt want to play skifree which was the only english game on it(for some off reason they were against me trying to figure out french)

I never played this one, it was always Millie's Math House instead.
BTW: I'm not sure if the other characters had their own games, but Millie can be seen at 3:12 creeping in the kitchen with that spatula.
Sammy the Snake had his own Science House game, but that's about it. Dorothy (the duck) and Harley (the horse) appeared only in this game and Millie's game.
It was Millie's Math house, Bailey's Book house, Sammy's science house, and trudy's time and place house that i remember. Sammy was a snake, i think trudy was an aligator or something. the others didn't have games of their own, that i'm aware of. granted I havn't looked into it, those are just the ones i remember having as a kid. anyway, the horse showed up in Millie's Math house to eat cookies, but I don't remember him showing up in the others.
The roller coaster repeatedly going "pup, cup, pupcup pupcup pupcup pupcup" made me remember this game.
Holy fuck, I didn't recognise the game from the title but when I heard "BAILEY'S BOOKHOUSE" a nostalgia bomb went off in my brain!
Wow this video just gave me flashbacks of when I would play Sammy's Science House at my friends place... When I was fucking five. lol. Completely forgot about that game.

Holy nostalgia Mooseman! As soon as the kids yell in the title screen, ALL of my childhood just flashed in front of my eyes. I actually remember none of the things to do except for the story creation bit with the snake.

oh fuck i remember those. when i was a child i was handed a shitty hand-me-down computer and a binder full of children's edutainment games and just played them all day long
Ah, yes. I played the 3rd grade one with Botley. Mystery Mountain. You know, I just came to a horrifying realization; Polly, the antagonist of the game, was trying to alter history drastically. One thing she attempted to do was convince people back then that nuclear power uses batteries and so, it's not lethal. She was attempting to give people cancer O_O
are you me or something, because that was my childhood, i had an over 10 years old mackintosh classic, and i was handed the Freddi Fish series, quite a few Jump Start games, and the first Pajama Sam game, and all i ever did was sleep and then play the games. I eventually broke the computer by putting 2 discs at once on accident.
Oh Bailey's Book House is them computer game from my days as a tot. It was the only game available to my kindergarten classroom and we loved every ten minutes of joy it gave us. Long.Live.BAILEY!
I can finally fully understand Moose's nostalgia about old edutainment games. This is the first one he's covered that I actually played as a kid. Brings back memories of the computer lab and trying not to let the teacher catch you opening Internet Explorer when you weren't supposed to. I was a mischievous child.
I just checked, and that Cow in the rhyming minigame has her own game, a Math game I played as a kid on my Mac called Mia's Mattehus (Mia's Math House). The horse eating cookies at 3:16 (with Mia, or Millie as she's apparently called in English, in the background) is also in that game in a cookie-based counting minigame!

I had this when I was tiny! I forgot all about Houdini until now, but I've never forgotten the learning-keyboard's sentence for L - "Lizards Love Lions!" My parents thought it was hilarious and never stopped saying it, even all these years later. Ah, memories.

Wow, this is the game I've been spending years trying to remember. I played this in Kindergarten and have struggled to remember what it was since, with the only thing I remembered about the game being the "Quails quarrel" from the computer game. I'm so glad I can finally put that questioning to rest
You know I totally forgot I played Bailey's Bookhouse religiously when I was a mere Gentlesaurian Hatchling.
But what made me remember?
The sounds. Every sound of this game was etched into my subconscious from the music to BAILEY'S BOOKHOUSE! They may seem obnoxious ( and well they kinda are ) but man did they bring back some good childhood feelings.
Kinda wanna play the game again just for Nostalgia.

Your Kid Pix episode is still one of my favorites, so I certainly don't mind the shorter videos. Happy to see Lightning Round revamped and back, striking like...uh...a bolt of something that...strikes.
I played this game in preschool and I haven’t seen it since! I’ve always had it in my mind, not knowing whether or not I was remembering it correctly but also knowing that there was no way I’d be able to find it again!
This brings back so many memories.. My favorite one was with the alligator or crocodile whatever she was, and one of the gamemodes was in space and stuff, so many fun memories..

I remember growing up with two games from the makers of this game, they were called "Trudy's Time and Place house" and "Sammy's Science House", both of which used to entertain me for hours as a kid.
I feel like I remember this game, and it's going to come back and bite me soon, I can feel it.

Oh, the memories. I loved these games when I was little. Thinking back, I'm not quite sure why, it's much more simplistic than I remember, but at least it was an alternative to the typing games being constantly shoved at me.
I like this because its more like a short original episode than your older lightning rounds.

Ahhh, wonderful flashbacks of computer lab in elementary school. I certainly hope you get around to playing the Thinking things series or Ice Cream Truck! You knew it was going to be a fun day in computer lab when you got to choose between a Thinking Things 1,2 or 3, Ice Cream Truck or Kid Pix Deluxe 3.
The blue mistake literally is the only thing I remember from this game. And making creepo the clown hang out under the dog house, the whole game was like a weird fever dream.

OMG I remember this game! I especially remember the nursery rhyme game thing.
However, when I was a kid, I was addicted to Trudy's Time and Place House. THAT GAME WAS MY CHILDHOOD. I would spend hours playing the game where you build mountains, cities etc. in a sandbox, and I loved the clock and spaceship games as well.

Hah, my elementary school had this game on the computers, alongside Millie's Math House and Sammy's Science House, the other two games in the series. Millie is the cow and Sammy is the snake. I can always count on Brutalmoose for a nostalgia trip.
