Hello I’m an HVAC tech from Austin, TX for those or for people in the future that might have the same issue, if 1234 or adding it to the the 4 digit number doesn’t work. Try looking at the S/N the first four digit is usually one digit bigger than the 4 digit code and that’s usually the base number you would use instead. For example if the four digit you found was 1990 and the S/N would be 1991, then you would add the 1991+1234 and that will be your pin, Hopefully that helps the others out.

Just had a hurricane knock out my homes electrical (east coast Florida) spent hours today trying to figure out how to unlock my Honeywell thermostat. As they say Stu Gots! Then found your video. BINGO unlocked it it 2 minutes. What’s funny is Honeywell support online and on phone had no clue! Would have had a bad night without your help. By the way my model is the T5 model. And its the actual number on the back of the unit. No math needed.

Nice of it to display the PIN so any second you don't have it locked, someone can see your PIN once and be able to unlock it any time they want after that.
Also nice that they don't let you change the PIN
Yeah if you cant make your own pin its useless...people can just watch this video like I just did...whats the point of even manufacturing this....

Does this thermostat have a thershold hold setting.. so if you have the heat set on 70 the thermostat will go up to 71 before it kicks off and will not let the thermostat drop below 70 period???
Tried adding 1234 to the number on the backplate as recommended - did not work. Called Honeywell Tech Support - told to add 2244 to the number - it worked! This was for the T6 WiFi model. Hope this helps!
Mine is “Numbers on the back” + 1234 + 1.
Also another way : I had one of them locked, so I went to another one at my home and trying to lock it, the passcode it shows up is the same as the first one!

If you lock the display can you still access app control?
I have not tried that with this particular model but with the Honeywell 8000, you can. So I’m sure you probably can with the T6 as well.

This method did not work. A resident messed with it trying to program it and locked it.
We tried this and several other methods and none are working. Keeps saying incorrect.
We’re a resident in the same boat! I think the LL messed up the installation bc our whole cooling system no longer works, and we were trying to fix it but got locked out. Were you ever able to figure this out?

Been on the phone with Honeywell for almost 2 hours. Honeywell t6 pro can't get hooked up to wifi. How do you reset. Honeywell operator couldn't help us.

IS THERE A WAY TO CREATE A TEMPERATURE RANGE FOR THE T6 (69-73 DEGREES?)
For auto changeover? if yes, change ISU 300 to 1 and ISU 303 to four degrees.
4 degrees is the minimum allowed for delta t.
If your pin+1234 does not work try this.
Ex: 2121+1234=3355 does not work, try 3356 or 3354.
