    I have watched many explanations for proper slide care. This one is the best. Especially regarding restraint in whom one should not spray with water. ☺

    Thank you for this video. I find it to be very informative. I have been wanting to try cream rather than oil and I did not know that it should be wiped off the inner slide.

      It can work, but not great.

      Please do NOT use aerosol Pledge. (Respiratory problems) Liquid Pledge is OK, but it gets hard and chunky after time. I recommend #1: "Yamaha Trombone Slide Lubricant" (not oil), #2 Slide-O-Mix products, #3 Trombotine or Yamaha cream (as seen in the video), #4 Ultra Pure products.

      Wouldn't spraying water to the trombone make it rusty ?

      He's afraid the removable end where the cloth is attached will come off in the tube.
