- In a shallow Single QB league we'd go Jaylen Waddle, but in a dynasty superflex we're going with the two first round rookie picks. You have to know your league, but in active dynasty leagues can you then turn that 1.12 into a viable wide receiver and then be freed up to take a quarterback at 1.04 if you need one? One of C.J. Dynasty Trades In 5 is a dynasty trade show that focuses on dynasty fantasy football trade strategy, rookie draft pick values, individual player profiles, etc. For each player we discuss whether or not they are a dynasty trade target for 2022 and 2023, and if we lean sell vs. buy. I’m taking the 1.04 over Waddle straight up in a 12 team start 10 SF w/TE Premium. The value of a rookie QB there, or Malik Nabers is too much to pass up. I’m probably taking any of Nabers, Odunze, or Bowers over Waddle if any of them land with the Chargers tbh

Hey guys, great content as always. In a 10 team SF PPR TEP start 14, if I’m trading Lance and Purdy together which players (RB’s or WR’s) should I target in return. Thanks
Lance and Purdy combined we could call as being around the 1.06 in value. It's unlikely you'd be able to get Tee or Waddle range, but you could start with that. Then move to Olave, etc. Older WR wise you could look at Diggs and Tyreek. RB-wise is a little tougher. Because you'd need to add to Lance/Purdy to get the ones we'd have interest in, i.e. Saquon, CMC, Walker, Breece, JT.

Keep 1.01. The 1.04 is getting either the #3 rb or #2 wr. Both are two tiers below Bijan. You need studs(top 10 at position) to win start 7. Looks like only 3 guys have high upside for that this year.
18 team league I took over an orphan with no QBs really. I traded Waddle, Jimmy G and the 1.12 for 1.03 and 1.04. Still have Lamb and Pittman for WRs and Schultz (TEP) . Then traded Christian Kirk for my 24 first back so I can tank in peace next season

Love the content guys! I'm in an interesting league where rookie picks in rounds 1&2 can be used on 2024 players (all the top 2023 players were picked last year). I have the 1.04 and the 1.07 and don't have much at QB outside of Jackson in a SF league (Willis, Brissett). Would you look to trade up into the top 2 to take Williams or Drake Maye or would you sit at 1.04 and take BPA out of Williams/Maye/Harrison Jr/Bowers? Cheers
Yeah given your QBs if you can’t buy a (good) vet outright with your 1.04 and/or 1.07 then yeah we’d try to move up. Is this year’s 1.01 planning on taking Bijan this year?
@@DynastyTradesIn5 Yeah Bijan was picked as this year's 1.01 in last year's draft. My 2 2023 players are Quentin Johnston and Sean Tucker so not the worst pair. Think I'll try and make a play for an established QB. Is there anyone outside of the top 6/7 that you think represents good value to pursue?
Loving the content guys. I’m agonizing over this upcoming rookie draft. Have a great team outside of the QB position (12 team SF). I have 1.01 and 1.03. Do I take 2 rookie QBs (I can’t even figure out which 2 I’d take between the 3) or try and move one of these for an established guy in the league?
What QBs are available in your league for trade? If the team is great I would have a hard time trying to compete with two rookie QBs.

@matthewthomas970 That QB room, while not great, is serviceable. I would prefer getting MHJ and the QB2.
I have the 1.01 1.05 and 1.07. Lawrence Watson lamb Wilson Pitts Jacobs is my core. Going Bijan at 1 and either Gibbs or Jsn at 5. If at 7 Gibbs or jellison is still there I think I would take them but if they're gone am I crazy to try to move that pic for a 24 first next year?

We'd take JSN or Gibbs at 1.07 if one of them is there instead of kicking it for a 24 1st. UNLESS, it's the absolute worst team in the league's 24 1st and you think you may be trading for the 24 1.01 or 1.02
I traded the 1.10 and 2.10 for d Smith in a one qb
Is a full rebuild, maybe the picks. Otherwise, it will take a lot more for me to ship off Waddle

@@DynastyTradesIn5 Absolutely. I can stick Waddle in a WR spot and outside of injury and thr bye week, never take him out for the next 5 years. I'm not getting rid of him unless I am packaging him to get better players. Someone would have to add a Terry McLaurin and a Goff in addition to the picks before I move off.

If you don’t need a QB we’d pay the 1.04 for Waddle. But if that’s why the Waddle owner wants 1.04 try to leverage that and see if you can get a tax

So your saying you'd trade waddle for the 1.04 and 1.12. Then trade the 1.12 for McLaurin. Then trade the McLaurin and 1 04 for waddle? This makes no sense.. you just end up where you started.. 😆
That’s not at all what he said. You trade the 1.12 for Terry to get your WR and then it frees you up to be flexible at 1.04
So youd trade a 1.12 for McClauren?

@@DynastyTradesIn5 Maybe I misundertood; I thought you said: "part of the reason I would accept it is the fact that now can I buy a receiver for the 1.12, and then you reshape that deal to X receiver, whoever it might be, plus the 1.04 for Tee Higgins or Jaylen Waddle and you put that in there and you go Okay Terry McClaurin and the 1.04 for Tee Higgins or Jaylen Waddle " -- so basically you're accepting a trade of the 1.04 and 1.12 and then shipping out the 1.12 for Terry.... that's why I'm asking bc it seemed way to high for Terry
@PabloBanksie741 you also have to realize that this short is a year old. Terry's value is lower than it was last year. The concept still remains the same, but Terry isn't a guy I'm looking to trade a 1st for currently, even if it's the 1.12.
