    Really interesting at 17:00 hearing andy rooney say that networks cannot have editorialized/opinion talking heads, I wonder what he'd think about CNN/MSNBC/Fox now

    This can't have been taped on October 17, 2002. The interviewer says it's "December 7th, a few weeks from the millennium countdown" so it must hace been December 7, 1999.

    That hour long news he talked about wanting to put together with the 60 minutes crew sounds amazing, especially from that era. I think a void exists in 2021 where that could actually work.

    Andy's style was too quirky for the big three to employ him in the 50s and 60s. But he made a niche later on.
