That first game... reminds me of watching the first Star Wars movie ever made but through a modern lens... where Obi-Wan and Darth Vader... later portrayed as both possessing nearly peerless level badass fighting skills... but then in in Episode IV, you watch them blindly whacking at each other like old people with canes... that's kinda how watching Shin and Gumi square off in this first match for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybes they're warming up. = )
Medivac upgrade is unbelievably good, it's the only reason gumiho had unlimited stims and survived the fight at his natural ramp on site delta.

@@OnigoroshiZero No they are all designed to have a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. You are considered average if you are between 85 and 115, thats how they all work.

I like seeing the Caudecus Reactor upgrade being used. It's genuinely confusing to me how undervalued it is.
Like just look at that game with pretty constant fights happening, and yet the medivacs are near full energy.
it's amazing that not more terrans get the upgrade, given how much money you actually save from having to build more medivacs to make up for the lack of energy.
God that speed commentary at the end of game 2 was absolutely glorious! What a champ.

Great jokes and cast as always Winter. In all seriousness, I think the red zergling claws for adrenal glands is a great idea! You should pitch it to the SC Evolution modders and maybe we could see it in action at a high level! Then we'd have some professional testers for feedback, not just some theory crafting on CZcams ;)

I think the medivac energy upgrade is a bit ignored by the other great Terrans. It saved Gumi that crazy game.

It doesnt help that adrenal glands are made in the spawning pool. Which you throw down in the first 2 minutes, get the first upgrade at in the first 4 or so and never interact with it again. It's like if some late game upgrade for toss was in cybernetics core. And even then it's at least used for air upgrades

that said that marauder + reaper flank engagement right at the start of game 1 was brain expanding, ive never seen reapers used so creatively without relying on crackhead micro. gumiho teaching the world what terran can do as usual.

such a weird standoff. Pretty sure A-move would have walked over him.
I cannot, and i mean CANNOT STAND IT when a Terran or Protoss army attacks a Hive or Lair or whatever and leaves it on one 1 hp then runs away. What a waste of units, time, and the ability to slow the zerg down and cost the zerg more money and lost mining time. Huge blunder yet again by a " top tier Terran " player. I swear I see this happen almost every single ZvT. It literally infuriates me.
Wow... WOW Game 2 really shows off how bad the bad patch actually was. The combination of the nerf to fungal and the buff to widow mines just politely handed Gumiho a game he had lost several minutes ago.
Been watching this reply’s for a few weeks now. And it seems like every terrain goes M&MM. with a few ghost throw in.
Is there another build for terrain that can win? Mech seems weak.
