Yeah, I thought it sounded like Ace of Base. It was cool that they sprung for commercial music in their soundtrack, even though their original studio musician was very good.

This episode was all gas, all the way through. Super dark for this series and I loved it

@randymoore3986 My guess is he isn't dead. Because the scene of him fighting back to back with Nightcrawler holding the swords is not in this episode. So it hasn't happened yet. My guess is he is alive and maybe him overloading his powers like that created a permanent kinetic barrier on him. Which is why her touching him isn't let her sap his energy aka let her feel him.

Based on the original animated series that's what I thought. After the explanation in the video I am not so sure. Maybe Cable meant the sentinel, or maybe they gender swapped Cassandra Nova. Either way it's gonna be cool to see.
They already beat Apocalypse in the X-Men series of the 90s

Incredible episode! And this was me coming off watching Dune 2 again and MAN you can tell the show-runners behind 97 are doing this with reverence and love for the X-Men. The whole Rogue Gambit Erik situation broke my heart too

They also did a really great job teeing up Cyclops to go into post-AvX Uncanny X-Men mode. When he lost his shit in the interview I really felt for him.
The manic pacing in this show is next level. The audience is expected to buckle in for the ride. They mash together story beats stretched across decades of comic history into the same episode and, somehow, it works. This episode, in particular, is relentless.
That episode was freaking fire!
First, Happy Belated Birthday Rob!! Also, I fully concur it is Casandra Nova that launched those psychic attacks against the telepaths. Also, did anyone catch Gambit calling Rouge "mon ami" instead of "cher" when they broke up. Man what an episode

It can't be Cassandra Nova because Cable says, "HE'S coming". I think it's going to be Sinister and that they're combining The Mutant Massacre, where Sinister ordered the extermination of the Morlocks and E is for Extinction with all the Wild Sentinels into one storyline. I HOPE it's Cassandra Nova but Sinister dipped out so quickly in episode 3 that it's unlikely that he won't come back at all, especially with Madelyne still in the picture.
Well the xmen are a team... perhaps sinister, Cassandra, and bastion team up to face the xmen...
Also emma frost seems highly suspect...

I was literally jumping up and down yelling "E for extinction" for 20ish minutes...
It was so many jaw dropping moments in this episode alone from the cameos in the background, the relationship drama and action set pieces.
I think you thinking wrong, SHE IS NOT COMING!!! During this episode, Cable after traveling back in time says, "HE'S COMING!!!"

What if it's Stryfe? We know he exists as he was one of the psychics Apocalypse kidnapped in TAS, and as an uninfected clone of Cable he is incredibly powerful. Also, he is VERY 90's X-Men!
And he has nothing to do with sentinels…
