Definitely not an asshole, she definitely has a right to be upset, but she’s definitely overreacting by wanting a divorce because of it!
BUT with that being said. She needs to stop being immature and act like an adult and calmly talk to the in laws. It’s something that is bothering her and she needs to deal with it, not pass the buck onto her husband. Her husband should have her back of course but she shouldn’t put all the responsibility of handling it onto him because she “can’t talk to them about it because I might go to jail ” the wife has a point but she’s blowing it WAY out of proportion and if she’s not willing to discuss her opinions and decisions about her children like a mature adult how does she expect her in laws to respect her again?
