I totally agree, I only walk away once. For me my husband would twist what I had said and take credit by making things seem like he was saying what I said and felt and he literally tried to put me in the place of where he was when I met him and switch me the bright bubbly funny one for his dark insecure and financially unstable person. I can make $5 last a week if needed. Something about my mother is in him as well....like and they look identical he and my mother. Weird thing is, when I was 10 yrs old I had a dream that I slept with my mother and right before I met him a nightmare with a time pendulum and a wrecking ball with a great earth shake and Lincoln and statue of Liberty. He used the drugs he got me addicted to as a control mechanism. I had purposely avoided this certain substance on purpose and then he broke my two screws in my back by dragging me with the car. He watched me struggle to take care of both of us financially with the home I owned for 14 yrs and he would not share any source of income that he was blessed with by his street works or money his mother would pour his way as he lied and manipulated his own mother and lied so bad to her making her think that our relationship was much more my failt for the toxic state than I was and I wasn't informed of the money he had gotten and when and told her id pay her back without me ever saying that.
He also exited the relationship and made affairs with others but still had me thinking he was still with me but living with his bf when obviously he was living single ....and so was I very lonely ( his words were involved actions were not) I had no idea I was single and I had several better options come my way that I turned down thinking my marriage was going to eventually work out and that it was just a elongated rough patch..that wasn't the real case. He faked me on everything. Just makes me wonder what was true and what wasn't.
This is what happened to me. I saw that he was emotionally immature. Even though he ended the relationship. He jumped back to a girlfriend from 38 years in the past.
He moved the goalposts on all the promises and agreements. He wanted to remain friends but it was impossible.
Don't want him back. I don't need all this Lies deception, betrayal and backstabbing in my life.

He ignored my daughters, who had put him on a pedestal for the 9 years we were together! He left to be one of his colleagues! She didn't like children, at all! He wasn't allowed to have his 2 sons, that we had together at the house!
