This song kind of shows how this team is not one coherent unit. Hikaru and Lala is the core duo, and the rest three are supports.
It's the same as heart catch really. Lala and Hilary are very special
@@IRUKANJI it's called lazy writing. There's nothing special about them, just that LaLa was favored and got the better transformation sequence than the rest. And no, HeartCatch didn't treat the rest of the team like support, they each have their roles in the group.
@@skybraverywerlike8214 Nah Lala and Hikaru were clearly supposed to be a duo the whole time specifically in a Spock and Kirk kind of duo which would I guess make Yuni be Bones. Karen and Tsubomi were a very clear duo with an upper-class man and a high-school veteran cure to support them but Heartcatch handled the additional cures well beyond them just being support. The Star Twinkle movie was really just about Lala and Hikaru becoming moms to a new planet and that's fine.

I guess it's the movie so it doesn't matter but the original comment you replied to was more about this team as a whole doesn't treat its members fairly... And there's no one name Karen in HeartCatch by the way she's from Yes! Precure 5
@@skybraverywerlike8214 I don't know how I get Karen and Erika confused as names. Probably because of Monogatari. Also it's normal for some people in a group to have a closer and special relationship than they do to the rest of the group, that's something that can happen. Every precure has to have a main-cure or a main-duo who gets most of the screen time. That's just the format. There is also a role-reversal thing going on in Precure: the two older students are responsible influential people at the school with family responsibilities and they humbly choose to follow Hikaru and Lala's lead on the team. That kind of story has its own merits. In the TV show itself they were well fleshed out and had their own compelling story and journey.
I mean you wouldn't criticize Heartcach's movie because it focused far more on Tsubomi and Olivier's interactions than everyone else on the team would you?
I'm an old, hard man who isn't easy to affect emotionally. I have never watched this movie without shedding a few tears.
