    Shoot man I’m 3 years into my equipment rental business. And I’m still learning, I don’t think it stops. I appreciate the honesty you convey in your videos! Look into asset trackers and decals also identifying markers such as welded bead numbers. Feel free to reach out if you want to pick my brain or have any questions bro!

      How can I reach you for some advice? I recently bought a skid steer to start doing some work for my business, but it has not been successful so far. I will probably try to rent out the machine. At least part-time, but am not sure how to go about finding the correct insurance and contracts.

    Love your video very informative i can relate a lot when it came to the insurance part. In my area its common for people to rent out their machine without a deposit or rental agreement they let people pick up their machine or they will drop off the machine as long as they pay the rental fee. I can think of the many possible things that can go wrong though what is your opinion in it renting the equipment like this?

      I give the option to pickup or deliver it for a fee! I don’t have any gps or anything on my stuff but I have been looking into it. I will probably go with the apple air tags. Seems to be the cheapest. I do always get a lot of info from renters such as address,card on file driver’s license number and tag number etc. but yes I’ll be putting some kind of tracker on my stuff as well!

    • @brandonsdiyprojects
      @brandonsdiyprojects  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Not sure you would have to make sure there are no restrictions on there land and that they would be ok with that. Also it would be pretty hard to travel and hour away to pick up/drop off equipment all the time then go home starting out. Unless you just do this full time an don’t work.
