Except that most of the "universe" and the pageant judges wouldn't even know of Tondo. That's why the host kept telling her to be precised with her answers then elaborate afterwards.
Yup I feel her I have probably more experience than her being in slum areas since I lived longer than her here in the Philippines lol. And her thaughts about life as what she saw in the poor areas had me also Everytime I see children in streets family living in sidewalks. You would probably think right away what couldve be the solution to stop poverty. It's a big big problem but with small solution and it starts in us Filipinos lack life skills we love to embrace and be contented on what we have and love to be diverted into other things and be happy even the reality we are struggling living our lives day by day.

Ovela, Life Skills is a subject. We teach it here in the Middle East. It's really awesome to see kids learn life skills.
Sound Right is when you feel like what you're saying is not really aligning to the question but you still manage to sound powerful and interesting.

I think why she chose 'Luck' over 'Fate' because this Queen lost in Miss World 2016. She was just part of Top 5 finalists but didnt win the crown. Cause that year, everyone or even on the final Q&A (if you watch that), you could really tell that she's the clear winner but she did not. So I think, if the world did not permits her to win the crown, with a good LUCK and the RIGHT TIMING, she then conquered the Universe, and that's what she deserves.

The better word to use is FATE.
There's a subject about Life Skills here in PH. The subject called ESP and EPP in Primary pupils (Grade 6).
But it doesn't takle social communications deeper. Including interpersonal communications. That's why we attend "talks" or read "articles" or "books" that address certain issues like marriage, career, family, personal growth and change, finance and so on. Coz they further break down the issues, experiences and points of learning and growth that affect us as an individual. EPP and other values related subjects/books doesn't really takle much about "Life Skills" but takles more about a "little" about personality, attitude, family values, culture and community values.

With regards to the follow up answer to the question whether she is the one who hides the truth or tells a lie, she stressed that she chose her own team to prepare together with the MU pageant. From that we can see how dedicated she is because that was a tough move from her that she became an independent candidate. She never worked with the tie up glam team of MU Philippines. She chose to work with the people composed mainly of her friends who are hands down the 'best glam team' ever handled an MU representative who taught her the sensational 'lava walk', the lava gown, the 50 pcs dresses that she wear daily in Thailand, her famous earcuff, everything!From this Catriona showed her uniqueness and she is hands on every detail that gave her the title to win the MU. She is truly one of a kind rare gem the Philippines could never be thankful enough. She is the epitome of the word 'REPRESENTATIVE'

Life skills is actually a class/subject... its just called different in the Philippines... my generation it was GMRC I don't know if they still have it now.

I am now loving Ovela after watching this one of his many reaction/review vids. And to tito boy, he is indeed a brilliant mentor and great host. Catriona is the best. She set the bar quite high. Honestly, I can see how Tito Boy related music with showbiz when he gave his advice for Cat since here in the Philippines, doing music is closely tied to appearing on TV shows and not just going on tour. Most of the singers here Philippines usually (though not all) end up playing around with showbiz like trying out acting pursuits or maybe hosting game shows or maybe even be a judge in competitions on TV that are closely related to music. So I really think it’s more on your perception of showbiz and the industries tied to it that makes a difference in dissecting Tito Boy’s advice.😊

Or maybe just riding the bandwagon for views? I've seen his reactions to singers before and I thought he was knowledgeable enough. But then he started looking for characteristics of pop singing in classical/musical type of singing. And he seems to react to mostly Filipino trending things on CZcams. CZcams is becoming congested with reaction channels. These are all based on my observations. Still, I could be wrong.

In the elementary, we call it Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) or Home economics & Livelihood education.
In the secondary, Technology & Livelihood Education (TLE) that ranges from agri-fisheries, industrial arts, & information and communications technology.

There is a proposal of removing FIlipino / Filipino Literature as school subjects. I disagree as well. Years ago (latter part of the 1980's), Spanish was removed as a subject and I was really disappointed.
I am disappointed also that they remove the Spanish subject.
