    Not sure what he is on. He has one of those flat screen phones. His name is Rod Emerson and he's the owner of Billy Bob's Customs in Elma, Wa. He had one of those high end TV shows for awhile. He just finished a 41 Willys Pro Comp car. He bought two 56 Fords. Finished one mostly stock with a beautiful blue and silver two tone. The gasser is white with a green top but no drive train yet. He does have a web site for Billy Bob's Customs.

      I'll see if I can find him, thanks for the info. I don't want much TV. If its not on Motor Trend or may not see it. Willy's are rad, can't go wrong there.

    Thanks for the reply. Rod just finished a 1954 Studebaker for m neighbor. He has quite a car collection himself.

    Billy Bob's Customs of Elma, Wash. is building one of these and has the paint on it already. It's a 56 two door post.

      Sounds great, we need more of these around. Not a lot of Tri 5 Ford Gassers. Is he on instagram? Would love to check it out. I've had this one for 9 or so years now. Its been a slow build.

    At 7:30, why is the front axle sitting so far to the cars left?

    • @SpeedandChromeTV

      Its an optical illusion, its perfectly centered in the car.

    If you’re running a 4 speed, don’t you need a blow proof bellhousing?

    • @SpeedandChromeTV
      @SpeedandChromeTV  Před 3 lety +4

      They don't make them for a Y-Block so we will be building a steel housing to go around the cast iron bell housing for safety sake. I don't want to lose a foot.

    Maybe it needs a Ford motor

      I hear you man, let me say you're not the first to confuse a Ford Y-Block engine with a Small Block Chevy. They do look similar. One quick way to tell them apart is the distributor. On a Small Block Chevy the dizzy stands up straight. On a Y-Block its in at an angle pointing to the passenger side. There are other differences but that is a first quick way to tell them apart. Many people make that mistake not knowing Ford made an engine with a distributor in the back. It also came out before the SBC did. It was the replacement for the Flathead engine being Fords first over head valve engine.
