    Nice work Phill
    Looking forward to the next video.

      Thanks, next video should be on all the parts needed. Such as cables, fuses, 240v plugs and switches.
      Circuit breakers I will let the electrician deal with that and get him to wire in the 240v side as per regulations.

      I will see if the electrician will be willing to go on camera.

    That’s a massive system Phil . But I would need a Unimog traveling the world before I would try induction. Anyway good luck with it .

      Not that massive compared to many setups I’ve seen.

      @@terryoleary5424 it’s coming along great. Could be a week and a half before it’s completed, not easy finding electricians here that don’t have less than two weeks work booked in.

      @@PhilsCampingReviews can your auto electrician do it then get a sparky to sign off on it. ? I don’t know if that’s legal ?

      I don’t know. I doubt it. I think a electrician can only do the wiring for 240volt.

    I'm jealous Phillip. Soon you need to get a trailer to carry all that stuff mate your car would not be big enough 😉

    • @PhilsCampingReviews
      @PhilsCampingReviews  Před 3 lety

      It’s fairly compact. I tend to always carry to much camp gear with me, half the gear I take I don’t use, so this will force me to only take what I need with me in the future.
      I’m also thinking about changing the drawer system in the near future. Do away with the two drawers, just have one beside the fridge, so I can get the fridge down low. And get a shelf mounted of the roof. I only need the one drawer.
      Will probably build the drawer myself.

    phil if u double ur battery means u can double ur input/output amps to ur batterys

    • @PhilsCampingReviews
      @PhilsCampingReviews  Před 2 lety

      I been told in regards to the Itechworld 120X lithium battery that this is not the case when you parallel two battery’s together.
      The BMS built into the battery still limited to max continuous of 150 amp discharge.
      I’ve found the battery gets to hot at 150. 130 discharge is about its limit.

    • @MATT-zj7zj
      @MATT-zj7zj Před 2 lety +1

      thats not true phil this the reply i got from itechworld when i ask them : Yes, you are correct.
      If you connect in parallel you double your ah capacity, charging input and discharge output. go ask them yes it would run hot at 150 amps the bms is max out 2 batterys u got 300 amps so only half the work

    • @PhilsCampingReviews
      @PhilsCampingReviews  Před 2 lety

      @@MATT-zj7zj interesting. Was told the opposite. That it makes no difference adding two itechworld 120X battery’s together in parallel. That your still restricted to 150 amp discharge.
      I don’t know who to believe now. itechworld or the guy at Victron

      @@grantsaywell2132 I don’t know. My guess your probably on the money there. I’m not changing. I will choose products I see fit for my needs and products I think are of good quality.
      I’m not loyal to a particular brand in specific. I think if you do that, your missing out on some excellent gear.
      I do my research first than choose that product.
      Generally you don’t see to many videos I film giving bad reviews because I do my research beforehand and get the product if I feel it’s good enough.
      Drifta did call me yesterday afternoon if I’m interested in some gear to review, I said yes.
      Drifta do make great products.
