Such love, the love that the poet is describing in comparison to the commonly found love in society, is seen to be experienced by people who have already experienced the typical love many times and has passed through the byproducts, that is pain, and then they discovered the true beauty of love.. the love that comes after the love is gone.. its like a next level of love-space and when they reach it they seem to feel things differently and become extremely creative. But not everyone attains that!
And what is love? Is it only pain and tears? Why do we seek love if it only brings this heartbreak? No.. love flows because it must flow. It happens beyond the calculations of profit and loss.. like the flower that dies smiling or the moonlight that disappears in joy.. So it is with love. I'm happy to be in love whether pain comes with it or not.. So let me welcome the entry of love in my heart with joy and not sorrow.. :-)
Excellent performance by Mohua RotChowdhury...who will tell that she was débutante in that film. Sandhya Roy & Mohua performed great at par with the marvellous voice rendition of Lata. great creation by Tarun Mazumdar.
Mr. Ashish, this is Lataji in " Sriman Prthiraj" she sang in C-sharp scale not like all others are in B-flat, listens dull, like a food is served but no salt. It was Hemanta Kumar's control, legend. Till date no Bengali singer came anywhere near to Lataji. She is extraordinrily perfect on every notes . Unparallal. I never listen to any ordinary singer, it pains me.

It is not about only pitch or scale. Just listen to Jayati Chakraborty's version. If you don't like that then god bless you for your taste and judgement for music

Hemanta Mukherjee was not the first to get Lata mangeshkar in Rabindra Sangeet-It was Rabindrasangeet trainer Dwijen Choudhury in BOU THAKURANIR HAAT. I have personally no problem with non-Bengali accent for Tagore songs. K.L. Saigal has several Tagore songs all very popular.. J P Guha
While Lata does an admirable job on the strength of her voice, nothing beats Reswana Choudhury Bonna's version of this song! It is absolutely priceless.

According to me, Rezwana Chowdhury Bonna sang this song very well, but original song (by Lata ji and Kavita ji) is far better than any version
