When I was playing ball in HS I had prob quadruple the guys in the student section as these haha someone always did the sensei thing, I always loved hearing that. HS basketball was awesome. Although I was trying to focus as hard as I could, they def got a laugh out of me a couple times. We’ve come a long way since 2005 though. The opposing student section once cheered, “he’s a f*ggot”, in the style of “we can’t hear you” haha you’d prob get arrested for that these days. Ohhh the good old days of Massachusetts HS basketball.

As a Vancouver college student sophomore, gotta pull with my guys in purple
On our middle school version of senior night we were playing one of the two teams that were 10-1 battling for conference championship (we dont have playoffs in my district and the other 10-1 team had were playing a 5-7 team so it was must win for our opponent) and our student section was about the size of both of these combined. The game started with an opening 11-0 scoring run by us to force a timeout and by the 4th quarter it was a close game and it was the loudest crowd I have ever heard in a middle/high school game in my life the game went into OT and we lost 53-51 due to a complete BS travel call and the crowd started to sing "3 blind mice". also their best player was a reclass who is almost 16 who had a knee injury and our crowd was chanting "sit the sophmore" at their coach

At my high school it is mostly the other teams. Football goes to all home hoops games as they can and Lacrosse goes to each others. Also it is always run by the seniors on the Hockey or Lax teams.
